You guys need to quit throwing parts at the problem and actually troubleshoot things FSM style.
I would look at the wiring to the three devices that control safe mode revving and the fuel mix the most first, then troubleshoot them according to the FSM:TPS, MAFS, and 02.
Then go looking for intake leaks, bad couplers and bad clamps. Checking the water temp sensor is easy, so you can do that anytime.
Alot of the time it's just bad wiring if you can't find anything else wrong. Jiggling the connections can sometimes reconnect things and you can notice the idle change or just the sound of the motor to tell where it is bad.
