As you're using the car as a daily driver, it should be unecessary to upgrade your fuel injectors. Until you're running an engine built with performance primarily in mind, large injectors aren't terribly necessary as you'll see a plateau in the performance. It should be fairly safe to run the stock injectors as a result.
Don't expect a large performance gain, maybe 10-15 depending on what else you mean by main upgrades.
The biggest issue may be that if you're car isn't being fed enough fuel, it would be as a result of the manifold pressure dropping too low. The length an injector stays open is known as the pulse width, the ECU maps it off of the manifold pressure and what you're revving at.
Anyhoo that's me going off about nothing. Yes it should be reasonably safe, and the performance should be noticeable while not extreme.
