Sounds like a plan. i hate the damn stock rims/rubber. Over all the stock wheels don't suite the car. it deserves nicer shoes, like the G37/35. Where is a good place to have the meets? is chinook pretty centered for people?

Hey guys, just a friendly word of advice...USE LOCKTITE WHEN INSTALLING YOUR ENDLINKS!!!

For the last two weeks I kept hearing this horrible 'CLUNK' noise whenever I turned the wheel to the far right (ie. getting into garages, tight parking spaces, etc...). Then, in the last couple of days, the 'clunk' would be followed by an even nastier grinding noise. I lifted the car up this evening and found that my front right endlink had come apart from the top. The long part was still attached to the bottom bolt but was just flopping around facing toward the rear of the car. Every time I turned the wheel the inner part of the tire would push the endlink into the body and grind...ugh...

From what I've gathered, this isn't the first time it's happened either. Make sure you tighten all nuts as much as possible and use locktite!

Just name the time & place! I'm still thinking we should make an appearance as a group at one of the Beyond meets...

Right now I'm just waiting for the gravel and crap to get swept off the roads so I can put my summer rims back on!

Yea, that sounds like fun. Too bad we got another s***ty day weather wise yesterday, but the rest of the week should be pretty amazing. Hopefully I have my rims before we meet!

Next week works for me. My last class is on the 17th and I'm desperately trying to finish my final project for it as I type this (500-level courses are a biatch and then some...)

I've got my "spring rims" on right now, so it's not too bad. They're a black 6-spoke so my car looks all murdered out which ain't too bad! haha

Incedentally, I don't suppose any of you guys want to buy into my spot on the projector GB? AMEX decided to bone me and now I've gotta get about $4000 together to pay for my wedding rings!

How much were the projectors? I'm pretty low on cash myself. when are they supposed to get here?

I believe they were $900. It's a dual projector setup with dual angel/demon eyes and 6000K HID kit. The deposit I paid to Brandon was $500. I'm pretty much near the bottom of the list IIRC, so it could be a few months before they'd be finished. Since he hasn't started working on them yet, there's still a fair bit of room for you to get creative with them.

Thanks man! The only problem is that the tires are 235/45R17, so that puts them about an inch or so smaller than stock...I really have to be careful going over bumps!

the winter tires i had on my car were 205/55/16 i think? or maybe 205/60/16. but, anyways with the huge wheel gap and no drop at the time, my car just looked like it was floating haha

hahaha that would be awesome, whoever makes it further in the playoffs (calgary or vancouver) wins. The losing team drives the full distance to the opposing city.
