calgary altima's unite

After the last coupe meet, it was brought up that we should have another meet. Except this time it would include all Altima's in Calgary, coupe or sedan.

We met at Mcmahon Stadium on a Saturday which was a perfect location since the parking lot was huge, but it was a long trek for some members. So, post up any other locations you might know.

As for a date, I'm going to go ahead and put one out and we'll see how many people are okay with it.

NOOOOOOO not the 7th!!! I'm shooting in Toronto that weekend (and I'm busy for the two weekends prior)!

For an alternate location, we could always meet up at COP and trek out into the wilderness from there...go for a cruise 'n such.

Legend: I only snapped a couple of frames...it was too damn hot and the sun was at a crappy angle for good shots! Next time we meet, it should be in the early evening.Also, every Saturday night there is a large meet (all kinds of cars) at the corner of Barlow & some street up in the NE. Anyone interested in representing there?

Yup, that's the place! Be forewarned though...if you have tint, roll in (and out) with your windows down. Calgary's "finest" would much rather ticket tuners for minor infractions like window tint or, like last weekend, my buddy's "oversized exhaust" ($115) than catch real criminals. They all know about the meet and there are plenty of unmarked cars rolling around there every weekend...

Nope...not yet. The lease on the Race City property is up at the end of '09 I believe. While the city isn't "technically" shutting it down, they're just not allowing them to renew the lease on that particular patch of land as it's needed for some sort of "industrial expansion" or some other such BS. The fight now is for the city to acommodate the rebuilding of race city at another site.

...either way, it blows.

Mmmkay...Vancouver is freakin' pretty! I'm staying downtown right now (Davie & Denman) and have a perfect view of the ocean from my balcony! I just drove up the twisty mountainside along with my buddy and his 300whp WRX STi...and I kept up with him! Seriously guys, get your suspension mods done ASAP!!! It helps! (Mike, I'll give you a hand if you need it!)

theres a balck altima coupe that is parked on my street. maybe hes on here. 2.5 looks like base modal. then theres a silver one that is parked down the street too. both coupes. then theres my red one

Im planning on goin into that GB for the springs, but i dono where to get my springs installed, Have u already done urs? did u do it yourself or a did u find a shop?

My only concern before buying the springs is the price to put it on

Whatever you do, DON'T GO TO THE STEALERSHIP OR A "REGULAR" SHOP TO DO IT!!! They'll rip you off like you wouldn't believe. Try going to one of the tuner shops in town and see what they'll do for you (ie. Speedtech, E-Mortal Customs, etc).

I did my own and it wasn't too hard or time consuming (especially the rears!). If you'd like, I can give you a hand with it when you get them in. Hell, if fiftytseng still hasn't gotten his on by then we can make an afternoon of it!

BTW, what's the GB price?

EDIT: I just found the GB page! I paid that much (regularly priced) from TireRack a month ago! haha

...as for the meet...NOT ON SATURDAY!!! I'll still be in TO then! My flight gets back into Calgary at 11am on Sunday though, so we should meet up early that evening. Can we get a yay or nay from anyone who's posted on here as to whether or not they want to get together? It would be great if we could get some of the sedan folks in too!
