I realize pics were already up of it installed on an Azure Blue, but I figured a few pics on a Winter Frost wouldn't hurt...here's a sampler. I'll add more with different angles in a few minutes. Haven't decided what to do yet with the center support. Paint it black? Cut it out and sacrifice stability? We'll see...

Yeah... I think you need to paint it... atleast the bottom, maybe all the way around and just leave the mesh black.

I know someone substituted that support with a bar that was like a quarter inch thick, i just cant find the thread...

I'm thinking I'm going to leave it the way it is (matte black). It matches the strip between the fogs, I personally like it the way it is. I do plan on painting the support black though. Might be this weekend, I'll def. post some pics if I do.

while your getting the grill painted you should pain the black part near the fog lights white as well. and then you already know you got to spray paint that white metal piece behind the grill black... grill looks nice though, just needs to be painted. rims are really nice too

I was very excited when this grill came out, but after seeing Mehdi's car and then the OP's, I am not sure now. There is something about it that I don't like.

But to each their own, congratulations.

Yeah, I don't get why the Coupes have it and the Sedans don't. Very bad design by Nissan!

you can just paint it black... my stillen front fascia looked horrible at first because the radiator shined straight through (which ive seen with other altimas with the front fascia) but after i painted the radiator black it looked perfect... like i said before, the OP needs to paint that white support thing black and color match the bottom on the grill... also, search for a member named "infantry" or something like that... he has a white coupe with a grill and he replaced that support thing with something else (he did a write up like 6 months ago or a year ago).

Yeah, Axis Elites...definately a head turner. I always get complimented on 'em. Keep an eye on eBay, I had found a dealer/store that had just the rims listed so I contacted him about a discount on a package deal.

No update on the grille yet, it's been raining the past few days. Once I get the support painted I'll def. post pics.

Something I was thinking of earlier... why not go a fairly easy and less expensive route and get a strip of vinyl to put on the support frame? I haven't looked at the piece up close so I don't know if it has crazy grooves or anything that would hinder a vinyl application, but you could get some flat black sunscreen bs from auto zone and trim it to fit instead. Just an idea.

I'm curious to see what it would look like on a white car with the border colour-matched and the support painted black...

I would also be very interested in seeing a white one colour matched with the support painted.

Just an update...painted center support bar black this weekend. Bad quality picture but you get the idea. Still contemplating painting the bottom of the grille to match the body color.
