Dude, it's pretty simple. If you can take off the bumper, you can take off the grille... I believe you have to take the damn moustache off first though.dilbert the third wrote:just received cmod grille does anyone know if there is a detailed write up of removal of OEM and install of the cmod----thanks everone for all the info that can be found here
Looking good!Im still debating whether I want it or not...Is there any drilling required?rcboy514 wrote:Here are some pics of mine...kinda wierd at first but it's growing on me, I will eventually paint the radiator, but either way im diggin it. these are cell pics and not great lighting but they will do for now.
during installation (bumper is hard to put on with one person)[
nope, no drilling. Just some screws and pop-up tabs to get the bumper off, then its just a matter of popping the grille in placelouiebgt wrote:Looking good!Im still debating whether I want it or not...Is there any drilling required?

Awe man!Thats why i was a little hesitant in buying it I have a precision greycoupe also, pics would be grrreat!good luck!Sith LL_Coupe wrote:Finally got my C-Mod Mesh Grille today! After looking at it after opening up the box, I'm honestly not very impressive with its design. The mesh wire kid just is bent around the back side of the fiberglass framing and has some little metal clips holding it in 4 places. I can take pics if you guys want. But went you push in on the mesh with your hand it moves more than I like. Doesn't feel very sturdy. I will be probably going to try and get it painted this weekend along with my Stillen Roof Wing (I got it yesterday). Once it's been painted and installed I will definitely be taking pictures. Should have them posted by Monday.
Well how else would you want them to attach the mesh? The mesh underneath my ViS Racing hood it attached in the same fashion, and all other mesh grilles I've seen use the same method. I like it this way because if you want to remove your mesh to paint it/change it for a different pattern it's easy and there's no cutting involved.Sith LL_Coupe wrote:Finally got my C-Mod Mesh Grille today!
