Yep, you're too late. I'm going with the two-tone.

That over fender is pretty flare-like in terms of shape. Show me an s13 flare with lines like that...

That actually looks pretty sweet. Did a quick search and found those flares on RHDjapan for about $1900. 50mm front and 70mm rear flare...

I wouldn't mind picking up a pair of these if I decide to move up to something like 315 in the rear and 295 up front at some point.

Somebody just served me up some iPwn.

Hmmm, yeah that gap in the back is interesting. Who makes the rear diffuser on that car?

I'm kind of on the fence with it. I think that jank-a** drag wing they have makes it look pretty bad.

I wonder if a tall GT wing would make it look better.

even if it did something back there, the whole rear doesn't look proper to me. I would sacarfice just alitte performance for a good looking/sexy rear. But doubt you'll be sacarficing much in the performance arena by swapping that janky stuff out with something else. I'm still thinking on to what to do with mine.

Haha that is what I thought when I read the bump.

Nothing new in terms of looks, yet. I took a 2-month hiatus from even touching that vehicle because I've been incredibly swamped with my business.

I've been slowly, but surely, getting my butt in gear. I am going to a 2-day Comp. School in April to get licensed with SCCA, SOVREN, etc., so that pushes my 240 track day schedule back to a May start. Lots of time to get basic stuff done hehe.

Recent maintenance done:

- Wash/detail car (includes removing endless little rubber "stains")- oil/filter change- transmission fluid change- radiator flush, new Water Wetter added- rear diff fluid change

Stuff to do still before first track day:

- Brake fluid flush- re-tune the motor to run 92 octane, and have the boost map re-done- suspension alignment and tune to account for new tires- drive-shaft balancing (to avoid the shakes at high speeds)

There is a big list of things to do for upgrades this season too. So... much... money... to... spend...

Its a poll thread, so whenever someone votes it gets bumped to the top. I looked at it when it popped up at the top of the list & no one posted, so someone must have voted

Did you decide on aero for the car Matt? I like the flares, different from everyone who has overs.. but good to hear your getting back into it in the coming months

Yep, going to put the front lip back on and go with OEM side skirts. Custom front splitter and canards, undertray, and rear diffuser and canards. Will be going with the Origin GT wing.

No more two-tone, at least in paint. Will be painting the flares and additional bodywork white (minus the wing).

I change my mind pretty often, but I think this will look pretty sharp.

Your car is dropped very aggressively, which poses a few problems in your future. First and foremost is the issue with FRP bodykits. When I first got my car, it came with a really nicely painted vertex kit, with the car dropped on Eibach Prokit springs (about 1"). After a few months the kit began to get paints chips from rocks hitting the bumper while driving. After about 6, it just looked like something had been chewing on it, it was so bad. I then decided to drop the car more, on Sportlines (2"), and it was over for the body kit. About 2 weeks later, I hit a pot hole going down a driveway and broke it. I was in the market, looking for a new front bumper, when I found the Urathane 180SX front bumper. It was similar to the bumber I had before, just not as big and way more resistance to wear, that i went with it. It's been over a year, and still the bumper looks NEW!

As for the rest of the kit (side skirts and rear bumper), which are FRP; those are less exposed so they they still look good. Therefore, for the front end, unless you are planning on replacing components about every year, then go FRP; cheapest route. If not, then stick with Urathane. As for the rest of the body components, you can go with pretty much anything.

Already have a urethane front lip. Sideskirts will just be frp.

It's pretty much a track-only car, too. I think I've only put about 300 street miles on it in the past 8-9 months.

Haha my sentiments, exactly.

I actually think my car has a pretty awesome ride-height right now. Not slammed at all, but will look low enough after skirts and lip to appease the low-goers.

I need the 3-4 inches or so I have above the front/rear tires to allow for suspension travel, so I doubt I'm going much lower, if I do at all.
