Kognition makes a dry carbon hood, but s14 only. if you can whisper sweet nothings in their ear perhaps they'll make one for you. hell if need be I'll sign up for a dry carbon hood for my pop ups!

i hear the dmax hoods have good fitment. i'd probably just buy a fiberglass one of theirs in vented form.

This is what I'm leaning towards. The dry carbon stuff is just silly expensive, and I'm not THAT concerned with the weight up front... the RB will be turning into a 13b for weight savings someday...

If you're going to keep the flares, I say at least paint them to match the body.

Damn, you don't want my hood. Anyone else want my hood? lol

They'll get paint as soon as the rest of the body work is ready. I need to have my roof damage repaired, too.

Oh yeah, didn't your hood fly off? lol

Hood pins are your friend. I'll throw some in if you buy my hood!

I think the car is really clean. Tough call... I'd love to see something really clean, simple, and subtle on it. This is a track car, right? A clean front bumper or lip with a splitter and some oem sides would look perfect IMO. It's almost too clean to put a kit on... I will get hated on for saying that, but that's what I think.
I agree with this man, completely!

OEM!, subtle lip, and OEM sides & rears.

Car is already amazing. Turn the cockpit into a spaceship!

Good luck in whatever you do!

Continue on with the weight saving and remove the wheels and brakes too. With a 13b in there it's never really going to move on it's own power.

Meh, you may be jaded from your experience with rotaries. :P Bottom line is:

- I save 350-400lbs.- If built correctly, I can use the motor for at least 3-4 seasons.- I can make 400-500 whp with the same amount of torque in a 22xx lbs. car.

It's either the rotary or something similarly light that will be powering the beast...

Haha yeah, it flew up and smacked into my windshield at 120-130 mph. I miss that shiny carbon hood.

Just another reminder that the little stuff matters when you're going fast.

I changed my mind about your hood. Spare parts are always a good idea...

I'd love to buy the hood if the price is right, actually. Shoot me an email with a great offer (talk to Bumnah for an idea, he's pro at striking awesome deals), and I'll send you some dough.

I'll just modify the hood to be vented and allow a slot for the strut tow-hook I'm putting on.

Hehe thanks.

I can understand, and was expecting a lot of negative feedback about the flares. Perhaps I will change them out down the road or something.

For now, I love how they look and they stay.

Wrinkle paint the entire car? Honestly, I've never even considered it.

you should get either a BN Blister kit, or one of the supermade ones.

I like what BH said. Your car with overfenders and big meaty tires setup for grip would look down right mean... and confusing to those who associate over fenders with drifting. Or just keep the flares (they look BA) and get a simple kit.

Remind me, what was reason for getting the flares in the first place? You're wheels fit under the car before right?

Don't be folled by your brain or other's brains when they say it looks good NOW.It actually looks pretty terrible. Stock S13s look quite horrible.

You understand he plan now.

Origin stylish.It isn't a snowplow kit. It isn't AGGRESSIVE. It doesn't suck.

stick with the plan.

I was already slightly rubbing with 245/45/17 tires in the rear, and wanted to dramatically increase my front tire size, too. Another issue I was having was strut clearance in the front, so I knew that if I wanted to go wider with the tires I would have to push the wheels out with spacers.

Wider tires - win.Clearance - win.
