that's one of the cleaner 13's Ive scene. lucky you picked that up for $1500. just remember its an old car so keep an eye out. as for before you start spending money on things like strut bars i would suggest you use your money to get everything refreshed and maybe start saving for some coilovers and a set of wheels, that alone makes a world of difference in a car.

There are several little nuts on the inside of the car behind the taillights that hold it in. If you have trim there, that will need to go. I can't remember how many there are, but here is the only picture I could find. The nuts look like the two in the bottom half of this picture: I'm not 100% positive, but I'm pretty sure you have to remove the garnish piece to get the taillights out. Good luck. I couldn't find a DIY.

But be warned... there is some pretty nasty icky sticky s*** on the back side of the taillights that create a watertight seal. Just make sure you clean 'em off and seal it back up when you put them back on the car or it'll leak something awful! Good luck.

Yeah, you could do that. Also, you could go to a Nissan dealership and ask for like 3 feet of the stuff you need. They've always had it in stock when I've needed it.

Maybe its a good thing he is out of state.

I advise not to tint the taillights. It will be harder for people to see them AND im sure a cop would pull some young kid over for that type things

sure man. all you do is remove the fender liners. get a 10mm socket and go to town with the bolts hiding all the in the front. theres also two underneath. and a few under the hood. right in the front.if that doesnt make sense to you aim me anytime. ill explain it better

i have some faith in this build thread. the title caught my eye because it was the same situation i was in at first.

but seriously, buy some suspension goodies and get to work. there's no fun in only modifying the interior/exterior, plus you dont learn much.

Save the money, the Chinese headlights and intake don't do much. If you want a deeper growl in the exhaust.

save up for one, or remove the air box and put a cone on the end.

coilovers, wheels, maintenance are the three keys to start out on.

You might as well leave the stripping off and just clean up the residue. There's nothing illegal about it.

The coolant reservoir can be replaced with an aluminum one:http://www.2kracing.com/Product/42826.html

Or you can pick up an OEM style plastic one for $55 shipped:http://www.frsport.com/Genuine....html

Just lift the hood and follow the edge of the bumper ALL THE WAY around and removed every bolt you come to. Don't forget about the bolts inside of the front openings and behind the fenders.

sorry nothing really big, but i tinted all windows except the front windshield. trunk window - 5% , rear windows - 5%, front windows - 20%, they came out pretty good. ill post pictures soon..

i also got done sanding down my front bumper, so when i get my car painted, i dont have to pay the extra dumb $70 for them to fix that.

My plans for now:- Performance rotors(affordable ones)- Short shifter(ebay ones any good?)- Megan lowering springs(will eventually get coilovers but not anytime soon)- HID lights(dont know where to buy em)- Paint job(hopefully a graduation present)- KA24DE engine with turbo(eventually and hopefully soon)- Cold Air Intake(not sure what kind yet)- Exhaust- Steering wheel(suggestions?)

thanks guys...
