Tim what style IAT sensor did you use? Was it the cage kind where you could see the little element, or the solid plastic kind that you couldn't?

BOV choice, just get a DSM Bov, if its good enough for all oem applications including the GTR its good enough for you. No need to be laughed at by people.

I would hope Tim is using a GM Open Element IAT from all the long talks of MS we've had. If he's using a closed he's dumber than I thought.

That's just like the one I'm using with my SDS, and I was planning on putting it in the manifold, much like he did, but now I'm leery.

I had mine installed right in front of the TB. Still get accurate readings and not worry about Heat Soak. My Intake Temps never went above 110*F even at idle. During cruise it would be at Ambient Temps.

That's where I had mine before as well, I was just looking for a cleaner look.

yea your probably right, its cheaper and would allow me to get the BOV and the suction pipe to recirculate it. good call TCO!

Good choice, I used the DSM bov. Bought it for $30 plus $15 for the flange. You'll get a nice subtle whoosh, not some ricey psh sound.
