i have ordered numerous items from boost designs, some came fast some took a little longer but the products ARE good. from what i collected over emailing boosdesigns they have been getting another company to produce more parts for them since the bussiness has been growing, thats why shipping takes as long as it does. regardless i trust the products and i look forward to purchasing parts from them for future projects.

I am going to give PJ 2 days to respond to me with a definate date on shipping my Enthalpy ecu which was prepaid 3/16. If I don't hear a definate date I will request a refund through pay pal since I used a credit card to purchase. If not I will do a charge back through my bank which costs money. I feel it is rediculous to wait 3 months for anything unless it is a hand built supercar.

first i am not being defensive like i am known to be you actually have been nice in all your emails and i have talked with you and you have talked with scott himself and he has told you himself that he is out of plugs. scott is like any other vendor and when i take orders i do not call him and say i am taking an order is it ok do you have parts. i take it for granted he does as when anyone orders and just like when i order parts for my BMW i sometimes get backordered that is beyond my control so is scott not having the plugs. but when you come on here and post this even though you have been nice about the situation it make people think i have your ecu on the back shelf and i am just sitting around with it when in fact it has been at scotts programmed and waiting on the plug. and just in case you missed it scott has it not boost designs its been paid for and been sent. now to my other customers i have been sending out orders daily and i currently only have 3 orders left to fill. i quit taking orders 2 weeks ago to help get the back log caught up. we are currently trying to build an inventory up to cut down wait time but these kits sell as fast as ATR can produce them so that deffinently makes for a longer wait time than i hope for but this is manufacturing and i have 2 options available to me i can either tell them to make it faster and they will tell me if you can find someone to make them and make them faster then go ahead or i can shoot them either way will slow down matters further but that is manufacturing delays they have been here since people have been getting manufacturing done. i try to talk to customers and make them understand this but alot of the times it does not help some people are super impatient. i can assure you i want your order out as quickly as you do. then i do not haft to go on here and do this but thats part of the business as well. you cant go on here and find someone that says i never got my kit i got screwed. that will not happen and besides a few asses out there that were destined to casue trouble my quality is great and if it is not then you are covered for 1 year free of charge. yes i do realize i have customers waiting longer than i would like and i am sorry for the dealy we are working as fast as possible and be assured you will be recieving them ASAP thanks

PJ,

Thanks for getting back to me by email with an explanation. Like I said in my response back. I think you should offer an alternative in these cases. I offered to add more money to my order to upgrade to the more expensive AEM EMS.

You shut me down on that saying my ecu was already paid for and being programmed. That was a couple of days after my order was placed.

Consumers have options to get a refund when situations like this occur. I didn't get uptight and believe me I have been as patient as I can possibly be given the circumstances.

I think it would be good business to allow me to pay more money for the AEM EMS since I want to go that route in the end anyway. I understand Scott has programmed an ecu for the application but he can sell that to someone else just as easily because it is not specifically tuned to my application.

It's your choice what you want to do about the situation but I am done waiting indefinately - to me and many many other people that is unacceptable whether it's your fault or Scott's - you know?

Just let me know what you want to do because I'd rather let you remedy the situation than get a refund on the ECU through pay pal or bank charge back. I'll await your response. Thank You for your time and attention.

Sorry I missed out Hitman - I did get on the az240 forums a while back - I'd like to hook up with some of you fellas sometime. I know the Vela brothers because we all used to hang and drag race Hondas WAAYYYYYY back;)

I'll communicate regarding this issue through email. I posted on here because I felt people should know my experience and not get into something they aren't fully informed about.

I'm in Gilbert so get at me sometime either via email or pm and I would love to hang.

Hit me up via email, we're finishing up a motor install Saturday as well as several other 240 projects, and we have some cool stuff going on Sunday.

EDIT - Are you Scott? If so, you were here when i did my 5-lug, I didn't put 2 and 2 together.

pimplayahustla wrote:Here I am now with an incomplete kit and I cannot get a definate date on when the rest will arrive. I am still awaiting the Enthalpy tuned ecu which the car cannot run without. I told PJ in March that I would upgrade to the AEM EMS if he would let me but he denied the request stating that the Enthalpy had been paid for and was already being worked on.

If I can get my money back from Pay Pal at this point I am going to box everything and ship it back to PJ because this is completely rediculous. This order was placed before word came out that Enthalpy (Scott) was out of OBD2 to OBD1 harness conversions too.
Scott

I am sorry you had these problems. As I have stated in my other post i have not recieved payment or an ECU from BD on your behalf. I have been telling people since late february that S14 Harnesses will be on backorder until mid August. this date has never wavered or changed.

I do not believe that is a wise business decision to accept orders assuming that i will be able to fulfill them.

Assume makes an A$$ out of U and ME.

is a pretty good motto IMO.

again...sorry for your troubles. please e-mail me if you have any questions.

thanks,

Scott - I'm working on putting something together for you that I think you'll like.

Time to kick-start that business.
