yeah, the shop that did my swap never installed a catch can. I found a guy on the local 240 forum who had one and picked it up for $10

Wrong, my motor was all factory when I got it, I replaced the rubber hose to the catch can with the SS line when I installed my turbo manifold, as to keep it from melting. The PCV is on the other side of the valve cover.

They are talking about the one way valve on the side of the T-fitting that is under the valve cover. Basically it lets the oil go one way and not back the other.

A cheap and quick fix you can use for stock hoses is to wrap them in aluminum or fiberglass. How were you able to fit the stock catch can with your aftermarket mani?

i dont havea stock catch can or any for that mater i have to buy one.
