cool deal on the turbo pick up.... i'd LOVE to go with a twin scroll set up, but i know that my budget is slim... i'll most likely be going with the eGhey T3/T4 top mount kit, but have the local Turbo specialist here in FL, Charlie @ Evergreen Turbo, go over the turbo thoroughly to make sure it checks out... and probable have him to a custom rebuild/modifications like he did on my Pulsar T28 which sees full spool at 2800rpms... starts boosting @ around 1800-2000k... that guy is the MASTER....

so we'll see.... right now i'm just more focused on getting the motor and other parts swapped over from the crap car to the mint car... with all accessories, AC, Heat, PS, and cruise control..... the minor luxuries of a car you take advantage of, but don't realize how nice they are to have until they're gone....

No AC in the florida heat BLOWS.... ba dum bump TISH!...

so i didn't like the way i had my GReddy Full Auto timer on top of the steering column, how the GReddy Profec B Spec II was in the single din, and the AEM UEGO Wideband gauge was just kinda chillin in the place where the ash tray is supposed to go... it was all over the place and just kinda ghetto... so a few weeks ago i had an idea on how to consolidate everything in the single din below the CD player... at that time i'd checked it out to see if the TT and EBC would stack and fit, but the Din tray is concaved inwards, so it wouldn't work.... but now that i've got some time, and a new S14 for all this crap to go into, i figured what better time to cut and tinker?

either way, like usual, pics and captions.....

my stacked FATT and EBC with Wide band.. here's what i'm working with...beginning to cut and trim the tray to make it all fit... i had to notch out for the EBC/FATT as well as the Wide band, and the wires/lines coming out the back of them...just a test fit... more trimming needed...the back side, look at the clearance for the Wideband harness.. any closer and i'd have to figure something else out, luckily it works!!!! mind the hack job on the back, who cares, no one will see it lolfinal install shots, still need to double sided tape everything in, but here's the jist of it all...

it really irks me about how the screens on the FATT and the EBC don't line up, and how the bezel for the wide band in like 3/4" tall... maybe i'll bring the FATT/EBC out to kinda match the wide band... i'll figure it out... it's a pre install anyways...

oh, and a new shelf for all my car s***, doors close and lock... looks weird there, but when i get my shop built at the new house it'll fit right in....

other than than, just wainting on some parts to come rolling in the mail, ECU to put my Nistune in, DW 660cc's, FReddy Mani, and the AC adapter bracket and belt... then, it's big big swap time....

i was actually thinking of doing a full write up on the AC install, as A LOT of people skip that step and regret it later... if i do a write up, i'll post it here on NICO and the other S Chassis forums i'm on...

good idea tho!!

i spent about 30-35 minutes on the wash, and about an hour and 15 minutes on the wax... i got all the nooks and crannies, and getting all that dust out of the jams is a PITA... yeah, i do all my jams.... not washing your jams is like not wiping you A$$..

as far as the death threats, i completely understand... ever since i wrecked my first black zenki, i was missing it... when i went shopping for another one, black was DEFINITELY at the top of my list... and then i found this one...

Nice car, you've got something nice to start out with.

Good work so far as well.

The flip off pictures aren't so mature, but the car definitely is.

'cause to me, it will be EFFIN' saaaweeet... and hell, from the reviews i've read on NICO here, it seems like most everyone seems to agree with me...

tomorrow guys, i hope i don't disappoint!

okay, before i look like a complete retard to the old schoolers, i want to give you guys a little info, about myself and my builds...

first off, i don't have a lot of money, I'm not poor, but I'm not wealthy either, most of the parts that i'll be swapping over from the gold car, SR included, are second hand, hell, even third hand.. except for my custom built Pulsar T28 turbo, it was new in the box, still second hand tho... most of my parts, although second hand, are all brand name quality parts, that are proven.. i work hard for my money, and i spend most of it on my car as it's my joy and passion, i know better than to put crap on it (don't use the flat rattle can paint of the gold car throw that off.. but i can't afford a set of +/-0 Work Meisters or anything like that...

so my mods, and what's epic to me, are the deal i find, on awesome s***... like, a "medium" level of Epic for me, is when i got my megan streets, with under 2k miles on them for $80, yes, eighty dollars (yeah, it was a hellova steal, details if interested).. so i know megan streets aren't anything exciting to the "pros" but for me, who previously had OEM shocks/struts, it was EPIC, and a whole new world...

also, i'm relatively new to the game, I'm on my third S14, and i got my first one about a year and a half ago, some of you, have been in for YEARS, and all my stuff is old news rookie stuff... I'm fine with that tho, cause i'm doing all the work myself, learning from mistakes, and getting better... i've already gained a wealth of knowledge of the past year or so, i'm like a sponge, i spend more time researching, studying, than anything else.. much to the dismay of my girlfriend... I'm 26, been doing muscle since i was 16... and the gold car, the one I'm scrapping, and stripping, is/was my first boosted car...

so take it easy on me guys, what may be Epic to me, may be child's play to others...

now, with that out of the way, back to the build.... and yes, pics tomorrow, everything is arranged... just a matter of time

i havent been on these boards for too long, and even though megan coils aren't epic, the $80 pricetag is. i'm not expecting the world, i'm excited and im sure it'll be good. i'm in the same position as you, not rich but not poor, saving for quality parts and swapping over parts from my last car. the parts and deals i'm seeing so far a pretty good and i like the direction you're going in. i'm sure whatever the secret update will be is gonna be pretty cool

payment sent Clawhammer!!!

thanks for the kind words white comet... i tend to get a lot of s*** on other forums, mostly because i'm not building my car they way everyone thinks a 240 should be built... but i'm building it for me, not for everyone else... it's my car, my style, my build.

i'm having some clearance issues, but my girl is running up to the parts store to get the couple things i need....

update with massive pic whoring, should be in about an hour...

I got my 240 like 4 months ago but $80 dollars for megan coils would be epic for me that is a great steal, Ive been trying to learn as much as I can about my 240 cuz all ive worked on is american old cars that do not have wires and are carburated not fuel injected so in this case im new to these cars but already know alot. But long story short I think this update will be epic for me! Keep up the good work man I like how your other s14 turned out so this one should be 10 times better!
