I've been watching Fox and ABC. He was killed about a week ago by a US missle and DNA results have come back positive that it is him. The Pres will make an announcement to the US in a few mins.

He did say however that Bin Laden was killed TODAY. He made it sound like it was a ground assault and soldiers infiltrated the camp. This contradicts rc1's statements. Anyone got facts?

Also, I'm watching NBC and they're saying he was shot at least once in the head. I kinda giggled. I wonder which one of the soldiers got the honor of doing that? I highly doubt it was just "luck." I kind of wish they would have kept him alive though. That way he could have gotten tried like Saddam.

No, it confirmed them. SNWBRDR and LoneyBomber were saying it was a bomb. There was conflicting reports from many online sources. The facts are he was killed by a special forces unit with assistance of the Pakistani government. The operation was in effect since last August.

Yes, today Obama gave the greenlight to infiltrate. No american soldiers were hurt, and only terrorists were killed. I bet those guys are some BAMF's to rule all BAMF's.
