Ok, NOW I'm confused, but I think I understand why ...

We're men and it almost like we're planning this (other than the meet) months in advance. W-T-F!

I'll book a room (just before the deadline :)) in Lex at the great rate GR (THANKS) got us and I'll be home Sunday in time enough to pick up my kids, other than that who knows :D.

BTW, if you're meeting Brian at the airport, I trust you'll arrive with a suitable escort for the weary and deserving Admin.?

KTHXMUAH.

Louisville you mean....(I hope) and then caravaning to Lexington Saturday. Or am I wrong?!? Yes, I am picking Brian up at the airport and we'll make sure you're well taken care of Greg. However, I need to know if you guys are flying in to Louisville and chillin there until Saturday and then going to Lexington or just going to Lexington. Makes a big difference. *MUAH* (back at ya babe ;) )

Is "The cut off for reserving rooms at this hotel is Feb. 27th, 2004", still the cut off date?

<okay, don't really doubt the facts GR provided, just bring this thread and info back up :D>

As long as SOMEONE gets thrown out of the hotel, my trip will be worthwhile. :)

I'll do my best to make that happen! I'll make sure to get some booze that should do the trick.

wow, I so DON'T need to get drunk, unless of course someone wants to foot the bill for my destructive nature:D

don't think a hotel would much care for me riding a white horse and swinging a war hammer around in the lobby:(

I just reserved a room! What the hell did i just get myself into!?? :D

Now i really have to go this time. Oh well. It will be my first NICO meet and a chance to meet you all. Considering how long i've been on this board (been on this board before it became re-worked, and it was a simple little bbs), it's been long overdue. Got to prepare my s13 for the long haul from DE. (beautiful 9 hour drive)

:pface

This could be trouble...but in a good way(for the meet at least).

I predict you will singlehandedly double the male NICO population that comes to the meet. You just got yourself into the Death Star. A whole bunch of dudes and like 3 women. Let's just hope they don't pull out their lightsabers and start dueling, if you know what I mean . ;)

God help you...:D

I can totally relate to being nervous my first meet. I bought my Maxima in March last year. I was fortunate enough to meet CullenJ76 and Fezzik on Maxima.org, and they turned me on to NICO. Both of these guy's are around 24 years of age, I'm almost 33 with a 13 year old daughter. Those guys, in addition to to the other people I met at the Nov 15, 2003 meet in Louisville, are just all-around nice people. If you check page 2 of my home page, it's all pics of the guys' cars I ate lunch with that day. It was just cool...some guys sitting around sharing common interests, and a mellow vibe. :ylsuper I have found that I am accepted on the basis of who I am, not what I drive. Maybe that's due to quality of people here.

It'll be cool to have some 30-somethings-with-kids present.

Looking forward to meeting all of my NICO pals for the first time, after knowing some of you for almost 3 years...

What’s up man, That was an awesome meet. I wish that more of the NICO people there could have all went to eat. By the time we got finished eating/chatting everyone was gone from the park. LOL

This meet will ROCK as well.;)

Just curious, as i'm not exactly sure what's going to happen yet. But is it possible to cancel my reservation and be refunded? I've been having some financial/personal issues and was wondering if that was an option. If it's not an option. Then i'll come to KY.

I can call the hotel first thing in the morning. I'm pretty sure you can cancel as long as it's within 48 hours of the check in date and you have plenty of time if that's the case.

Sorry to hear you might not make it. :(

To answer Sky's question.....they do not charge you until you arrive at the hotel and there is no penalty for cancelling early. So if you need to cancel it will be ok. Sorry you can't make it. We'll miss you.
