I haven't reserved a room yet. Will the hotel let my reserve a room even though I'm not 21. I don't have any credit cards yet. Nick

Ask your parents for some help. When I used to do the convention thing back when i was 17 and 18, I had them give me a hand

I'll call our group coordinator at the Hilton tomorrow morning. I'll post back as soon as I find out anything significant. I'm sure they will work with us. They have been very helpful so far.

Ok, I'm not very happy. There are a lot of people saying that they are going to this meet but nobody is making the effort to reserve a room. There are 4, just 4, rooms reserved at the Hilton. One of those being my own. Don't forget that Feb 27th I must release the remainder of our rooms to the general public. They will go fast. Remember that the NCAA finals are going on at that time and every other hotel in the nearby vicinity is either booked or close to booked. We have the opportunity to have half (or more)of an entire Hilton to ourselves. This is awesome in my opinion. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE......Get out there and talk to other car enthusiasts. Tag their cars with a NICO card, show some pride in our forum. Do something. If you have already said you are going please reserve a room. We have people coming from Arizona, Texas and all the surrounding areas for sure. This could be a very large meet.

SO GET TO IT! NOBODY WANTS THE WRATH OF APRILLE!

GR :)

I'll provide the beatin' stick myself, I got a nice one about the size of a fence post in my trunk...

we still got a little over a month though, reckon everyone else is just as big a procrastinator as me...

I'd LOVE to be able to commit to a room Aprille, but I dunno if my car will be running or not :( The dates are fine, it's just whether I can get there or not. I'm sure I'll know by Feb. 27th though, and I'll try to get a lot done on it this weekend :D I have about 8 weeks, should be enough to get it put back together. Even if my car doesn't run, I might see if I can come with Alan or someone else from Texas.

That plan is a big negative....we're gonna have to ask you to go ahead and reserve a room, 10-4. jEzTeR, do you copy?

That goes for all you other fools...whether your car runs or not. You're staying. ;)

YAY!! Thanks Fred. BTW, can you sticky a link or something to the meet on all of the forums. That would rock! A lot of people just don't check the meets section.

And Nathan, I know you're trying to get here. Coming from Texas at 1000 miles + and being unsure is a lot different than a sub 5 hour drive for most of us. Hope to see you there though.

C'mon, I wanna see lots of you in KY. I haven't been to a huge NICO meet in a long while.

Ditto that.

If I fly all the way to KY and there's a weak crowd, I'm gonna be disappointed. Make it happen!!!

Do you think I would be better off gettin a hotel room in Lexington or Louisville??? I definitely need to be where all the NICO guys are!!

Basically, Im wondering if most people are staying in lexington, or if id be better off going to Louisville......

There should be a good handful of people coming in on Friday to Louisville but everyone will be leaving there and heading to Lexington on Saturday morning. The majority of people are going to be in Lexington since that's where the meet is. Just a small "pre-meet" in Louisville for us early arrivals. If you can only stay one night, I suggest Saturday night in Lexington.

Well for me a lot of it depends on when Bri(WD) and Greg(AZ) fly in. If they fly in Thurs....we'll all be in Louisville Thurs and Fri and Lexington on Sat and Sun. If they fly in Fri....be in Louisville Fri and Lexington Sat, Sun, Mon.....or something close to that....I think. We'll see..... :pface

GR - We'll hit Lexington Thursday evening.

BTW, if you're meeting Brian at the airport, I trust you'll arrive with a suitable escort for the weary and deserving Admin.?
