in order for an engine swap in a s13 to be legal it has to be a Nissan engine and it has to be out of another car that is the same year or newer.
For the motor to be legal in the states it has to go through processes to make it legal. Nissan never put the SR's through the processes to bring it to the states. The SR is not a USA legal motor from what I understand.
