To build up an entire S15 and them gamble with it everyday would be out of the question.
maybe when I was younger, but as I get older, I find it less interesting to pull shady stuff with cars. I value my dollar and license.

He knew what motor you had? He asked you to pop the hood? Cali sounds like a terrible place.ViolentRunning13 wrote:Got pulled over on the way to work yesterday. Cop popped my hood.
Him: Oh a ka24 huh?
Risky business.
from what i understand, you can swap any engine of the same make and year OR newer as long as the engine came in other USDM cars...so no rb's, lsX's or 5.0's unforntunately =/Kalypso wrote:in cali? that sucks... vq is a great motor tho... do want

If the rule means just that, there should be no problem with a 5.0 or an LS series engine.spooled240 wrote:

Also there was a cop waiting in the parking lot of my work waiting for me to leave so he can get me. He eventually left after 45 minutes of waiting. I flipped him off as he was leaving.
hm, i have a ka24 tooViolentRunning13 wrote:Got pulled over on the way to work yesterday. Cop popped my hood.

in order for an engine swap in a s13 to be legal it has to be a Nissan engine and it has to be out of another car that is the same year or newer.AZ89two4Tsx wrote:
