YOU GUYS I STOLE HIS DYNO SHEET!!!
thats sick man, be careful not to blow teh welds on teh manifold!
Actually you set your self up for it from the get go. Not to be a prick about it. But you made the thread and had the claims. From my experience I still to this day don't claim a dyno as my build is in progress and I have to many threads and research to handle for my forum members at club240. You can't lead people on this long without results, it only ends in your own consequences. If you could at least show pics of your progress there would probably be more tolerance, and less ridicule for the failure at hand. People are here to gain knowledge, and earn respect in the community and taking almost 2 years to show a dyno is not something to be forgotten.Especially since a build at any shop can take at the most 6months, regardless of what you have to do in between your life style. If your mechanic f%%Ked you, and I were you I would sue on principle. I would still have a dyno within the year. I think what people are saying is that there are no more excuses.Ajax wrote:Curses to you people who keep reviving this thread that is so old. Can a mod put a warning label on the title so that people don't read and get pissed that there's no real dyno yet (barring the entertainment value of the VTAK dyno)?Hoping to get a dyno next weekend.

i dnno dude, actually, he looses another 200hp at 10K them makes it up plus off THE CHART RESULTS, hes makin like 1200hp at 12Kcorn322 wrote:But seriously, what the hell is happening at 8k RPM that makes you loose 100 hp, before it shoots into the stratosphere at 11k RPM?
It was never my intention that this thread would go so long. After this one died down, I actually started another thread that did have pictures. I've unfortunately had a lot of problems with this car and I've been very busy with shows (which is good for me). No one is more pissed off than I, believe me. But unfortunately, I have so little proof of this stuff that suing is completely useless. At this point, I would have to tear the engine down again, and I'm not really willing to do that.Anyway, I'll see if I can upload those pics again.Bigvinnie wrote:

On principle, I agree, but its difficult to prove legally, so unless I can prove that he was negligent in getting things done and that it wasn't the machinist or whatever that slowed things down, I'm kinda SOL.neverlift wrote:thats when you pull out the lawsuit threat.... something along the lines of discrimination, lets face it, it doesnt ****ing matter what car it is,you cash spends just the same.......
I thought you were supposed to have one last weekend
No it's not when you go to a shop to spend the kind of money you do to get the work done. Always get a contract with a limited warranty of 6months to a year. Even if you had a reciept from the shop which gives the date you finalized payment allows courts to decide who's fault it is within the time they built it. Mechanics at shops charge anywhere from $60 to $120 at those rates you should negotiate a warranty or build it at your own expense. Mechanics charge these rates to gaurantee a final product and those rates insure them to fix it if they F$%Ked up. Your story just doesn't add up.If I buy $3500 in internals and pay a shop $3000 in labor expenses I would with no doubt want a 1 year warranty at a minimum. When an engine is broken down it is very easy to determine the fault of the drivers negligence or if it was the shops fault at build and the way they machined there parts.Ajax wrote:On principle, I agree, but its difficult to prove legally, so unless I can prove that he was negligent in getting things done and that it wasn't the machinist or whatever that slowed things down, I'm kinda SOL.
