Yep, Shaz posted that article above.
If it's not the S13 with the most horsepower, it's at least the one with the most torque.
It reached over 860 ft/lbs of torque before the dyno maxed out and said "error".
They'll have to find another dyno to see what they're actually making.

That's pretty cool that they're taking it to Nardo for the top speed attempt, and you can't argue with 1100hp. Can't help but think the big hellaflush wheels are probably just for the show though, and will be switched out before the speed runs start.

^^^Are you serious? 18 inch wheel diameter isn't unheard of on s13's. Its the 11 inches wide that is nuts. But it's not like they're running stretched tires here. The rubber is square on the wheels all the way around with super sticky Advan 295 width tires! In fact, I don't think I've EVER even seen a build of this sort with tires that wide. I don't think it's for show. I think its for maximum traction.

If anyone where interested... both XXR and Rota are now offering 18x11 wheels in 5x114.3... :naughty:

Oh Simmode, this is not one of my hellaflush bashing posts, lol. I have a valid point this time. 18x11's with super sticky 295's sticking out a full inch past the edges of the fenders are NOT what you would use on a car you were trying to push to 400kph, which is what they intend to do with this car. All that set up is going to do is drive up the drag coefficient. You don't need max traction for a max speed run, quite the opposite in fact. Also, those advans are only rated to around 280kph and Nardo is not the smoothest track in the world. Are you familiar with the Nardo test track?

Its one endless corner, which puts an incredible amount of strain on the structure of the tire, if not the actual grip from the rubber. Check out Top Gear UK, series 18 episode 1 for an idea of what driving around it at ~330 kph with proper tires is like. Looks scary as hell, very bumpy.

Honestly I like the build, but the car is definitely not optimized for what they intend to do with it and it might turn out to be a total disaster.

You have a good point. They did mention in the article that they had done a little drifting with it, so maybe this is their show/drift setup.
