Call Rob (# in first post) and see what he has. He mentioned working a deal for J owners.

Be sure to tell him Greg from NICO sent you.

can anyone post pictures of their car with these shocks, and if possible, the aftermarket springs? i want to buy shocks and springs at the same time, but want to get rid of the wheel well. the only question i have about getting aftermarket shocks/springs is, will this affect if i can fit 18''s or 19''s?

Pics won't show the effect of the shocks, but you'll sure love how they feel! You'll probably have to visualize the springs as well (they'll drop your Q 1") as I'm not sure who (besides Dennis) has the Eibachs.

18's should be fine with the 1" drop, but I can't imagine why you'd go bigger (unless it's just for looks). Do a search.

This car lost all ride quality and acceleration, and steering range was decreased by a third - But it looks cool... :rolleyes

Hmmmm - Are you unable to loosen the nut on the bolt, or remove the bolt from the sleeve?

Feel free to call me at (602) 828-8908 and I'll walk you through it.

I have the Eibach and Tokico Blue setup that dropped my car 1". 18"s will fit fine with 245/45/18 tires and look sweet doing it. You will have at least a whole 1/4" clearance from the control arm. I blew out one of my front Tokicos in just 5 days. I think it was a fluke and they are sending me a new one no charge. My parts guy got me the tokicos and eibachs for a little more than Rob, but shipping was included so not sure how that totals out.

Here is a pic of my car with Tokico Blues, Eibachs, and 18" '02 Q45 rims. It lowers it just enough. Overall tire diameter is increased .62 inches and still fits fine. Its not like you will get a lot of susp. travel with this setup!

I know I promised to get better pics of the Q here. I will try to take some better pics this weekend. Then I would like them to be posted to "Member's Rides". You gotta see the inside..the leather, dash, & carpet is not baige but sort of ...I not sure how to spell tope...maybe taupe? Anyway, it has a lavender or purple tint to it. And with only 60K miles, I plan on owning this one for quite some time.

Geoff,

E-mail me at [email protected] with a write-up on your car and pics and I'll make sure they get into our soon-to-be new member's rides section.
