No no turbo kit, just parts....fuel pump and injectors and things...

well would yall be embarrass, if a piece together car came up to the meet, about a month ago i was in a racing accident, where the guy tried to cut me off while i was catching him and put me in a ditch and messed up the bumper and front fenders, and a busted windshield too, but i like to meet other 240 owners, in in cedartown, about 45 min away

How about a Gwinnett local meet next weekend at Buford Dam park? We can bring food and charcoal and hang out at the lake. Free place to have the meet...

Well If you guys went to the first meet that I tried to put together, NOBODY SHOWED UP. It was a total waste of time. It will be a long time before I do one in ATL.(to bad if you live downtown, you guys suck a$$. you couldnt even drive to Varsity. If your one of them I dont want to here any excuses.)It was a far drive for No reason. I say Gwinnett from here on out...

Im not hating, but I thought getting 2450sx owners together wouldnt be hard. I think people are imbaressed to drive there car around a lot of 240sx owners. Knowing that they are doing something ricey on ther car.

O.k. now that I got that out of my system, I say we get together somtime soon. The importlounge guys meet at FuddRuckers by Gwinnett Place Mall on thursdays. Lets just start doing that until we get everybody together and go from there. Its something that has been going on for a while. A lot of people show up to that.

Here are there rules.

One more thing. If your an imortlounge guy and you think were taking your idea. Stop hating.

We have a prevlidge to eat at the Gwinnett Fuddruckers.

We've been kicked out before for stupid reasons and it wouldn't take much for it to happen again.

These are simple rules that any mature person can follow w/o hesitation:

1) DON"T speed anywhere near the resturant, i.e. "Hey everyone! look at me! I'm so cool as I speed through the parking lot/ the mall circle/ ect!"

2) Don't sit in the game room area EVER! The mgmt thinks we are hiding and smoking and crap like that. Let's not give them a reason to think we are doing anything wrong. Sit under the boat like usual.

3) Don't make a mess in the resturant. Pick up your trash on the ground, stack your plates and cups before you leave.

4) Don't take 20+ napkins out of the holder then lay the extras you didn't use on the top. Just take a few and get more if you need them.

5) If you take a chair from one table to sit at another table, put it back when you are finished. Common sense.

6) NO BURNOUTS! NO HIGH-REV's!!! If you do that crap, you won't be welcomed back!

7) No loud music AT ALL! This ain't a car show.

8) Don't **** with the salt and pepper shakers!!

If anybody has any other ideas let me know.

p.s. I was speeding on the highway on thursday two weeks ago, and I was followed by a black 240sx hatch(with gexrad in white on the back hatch window. I think thats what it said). It looked nice. We switched back and forth at high speeds(85-90mph). Anyways he got of @ steve reynolds. If your on here state your name. My car is a gunmetal grey 1990 240sx coupe.

Sorry I missed the meet last week. I have not been checking the forum as much as I have in the past. Anyways I am at Tech so I live right down town. However my car is currently out of commistion. I am planning on working on it tommorow hopfully it is just the starter.

TM_kicks... I rolled past twice! once at 9:30 and once at 10 and nobody was there either time. I even stopped in to get a drink and parked my car in plain view. What are u talking about saying that nobody showed up cuz you werent even there

Wow offtheline. I must be really blind. Or you might be one of those guys that doesnt want to be seen. I was there. I was in the back parking lot. The Varsity lot was really packed. You could see me though. One gunmetal s13 and my buddies white accord. He thinks its fast so he came out too. I got there around 9:45. I was a little late. My tailights went out and I still went there. I waited till 10:08 than I went out the side entrance to go to B.P. Gas station. To packed so I went home. Simple as that . We must have missed eachother. It was a pretty busy night in Downtown.

Gwinnett needs to be the next location. Peace

i say party at my place. i can block off all parking spaces with dust tape. we'll have hondas and kias...SIKE.

fuddrucker sounds decent. too many honda kids.

but yeah. whoever it was that said "someone is embarrassed about their car" i think your right. someone has something ricey on their car. i dont care who you are. someone is going to think something is ricey, so dont sweat it.

im shure plenty of people think my black hood is rice. and im shure the balloons on the back look like mexican rice...or so i have been told. but you know what? its all up under the hood.

oh and chet...i know what a ca is. i was just being sarcastic. couldnt you tell by my tone of voice?

I agree... plus it lends a hand to the sleeper look once your engine and suspension are finally done.

do you go to perimeter in l'ville? my buddy with a ae86 says he remembers seeing your car there a while back.

i dig the sleeper look, but i love the rude awakening sounds of spooling and BOV.

i did the little cowl hood thing. and removed the weather stripping. BOV and spool sounds much more noticeable now. i raised it too far up for my tastes though, but oh well.

Hell, I'll even break out the horse shoes for anyone that wants to pitch some. They have a great pit area at one of the picnic grounds.

It is first come, first serve though. So we would need to get out there early and hold the place. It is about 2 miles from my house so I guess I am the guy holding the short straw on that one.

How many people would be in on this one?

Also, who can bring food/drink/charcoal? (I can pitch in if needed.)

I attend "UGA at gwinnett" or whatever, its UGA classes held at the gwinnett university cneter off of 316 and collins hill road. I'm there when Im not working, I work Tues/thus morning and weekends at the NTB at pleasant hill/peachtree industrial, across from the chick-fil-a.

I can bring some food and stuff, I'll pitch in a bag of charcoal(5lbs?) and maybe some burger patties...-chet(chad, we can meet up there if you want, its only 20 minutes or so from me anyways...haha)

I dont know about a picnic??? Im only interested in that when a mountain run is in process. I havent been to one yet so I cant wait.

D1 Is almost here so Im just going to get my car ready and meet up with everyone there. We can worry about a meet after that. I think people on here are not serious about a get together. Everyone is so lazy. Ill get more confidence when I meet people at other events.

I have an Idea though. I have started to see more 240sx's with mods around lawrenceville, so I decided to start going up to them and getting phone #s. That really the best way. I guess its my way of connecting people. Maybe with about a month of all of us doing that we can get somewhere. Dont worry about it if your scared. Peace

Dude, that is what nico cards are for. Start handing some of those out with your screen name on them.

We could do a mountain run and a picnic up at blood mountain. that is not all that far from buford dam anyway.

I will see what i can find out. but i still think the picnic thing is a cool idea. just sit around and bullsh!t about the cars and get to see everyone's rides in a relaxed environment.

i work in Duluth though off Sugarloaf Pkwy by the Gwinnett Civic Center. i'm game for a get together, but my 240 is in pieces though (the engine anyway). doing some cleanup/maintenance. replacing gaskets, hoses, etc.
