Theres no load on the engine, IE: driving, dyno, etc. On most turbo applications the BOV is not utilized unless there is a load on the engine

The BOV is atmospheric…. I've been carefully researching these guys and will check out their other applications to see just how reliable they can be. They don't seem to be that great at getting their stuff out on the forums here, we are the target audience after all. I'll put all that aside as long as the kit is of decent quality. I don't know how many times I've had to weld repair manifolds and downpipes from certain companies for friends of mine. So how much boost are guys planning to push if you ever got this done? According to the guys on the 350Z forums, the VQ isn't the greatest at taking boost for too long (8psi that is).

i you listen closely you can hear two mild blowoffs when shifting and then when i let off. the blowoff is real loud when shifting around 5400rpms and will turn heads from a distance.

i have about ten more vids that i made, just don't have time to download them to my computer and upload to you tube, but will get them on there as soon as i can. (fly by's, exhaust - inside while driving, 0 - 120)

the artisan exhaust is one of the cleanest sounding purr's i've heard for an exhaust. the in cabin sound is subtle but definitely noticeable (meaning you won't having any trouble talking to the person sitting next to you, or have your ears ringing after a long trip), while outside the car it's loud and aggressive sounding. like i said, i'll post up more vids as soon as i can.

Sounds good, it does have a really nice purr. Maybe its the camera but it seems to lose it's purr under acceleration, I hope not. Hope to see more clips when you get a chance?

Even with straight pipes, the turbo will act as a resonator and kill off a lot of rasp. I'd be interested to hear what the Altima sounds like without any cats and that exhaust on an N/A engine. Good work on the car.... Hopefully we can get an offical rep on the forums one day.... Kind of like Stillen. I'd like to think anyone selling a kit good for $5k and puts in the R&D would take a few minutes every day to talk to us little guys.

Warners car has the wastegate dumping external. this is the loud rush of air you hear in the acceleration video.

You can see the wastegate in the pic below. The final unit had a longer dump tube that angled down but this gives you an idea.

We have no release date on the kit yet. It is a very complex kit and now that we have three vehicles in beta testing we will start hammering out the details. Stay tuned to the site and our vendors, for updates.

I apologize for the lack of updates Artisan is made up of partners from major companies in the industry and we never planned on retail sales. We are depending on our vendors to spread the word.

Thanks for the info… I don't know if I'd count too much on the dealers to market the kits seeing how very little any of us knew about the actual status of the turbo kit. I personally hope this kit will be worthwhile to sell some low quantity orders benefiting both Artisan and the tuners. I just hope Artisan doesn't try to over extend itself like Zero Point Industries did with the Scion tC turbo kits back a few years ago.

Sounds nice and aggressive, but you've got some piping hanging pretty low there. Is that ride in the video dropped? Doesn't look it-- and after the drop you'd be picking up the pieces of that exhaust here in PA.
