Anyone still waiting on an SR from Afterdark?

hey man i have 2 more weeks till I go to college , and I have never even driven my car

i know....college starts for me in like 3 weeks....and no cool car to drive. I have to drive a ragged a$$ truck. I miss my car, its been out of commission since September of 2002.

I'm told my front end will be there next friday and that my motor is there now i have all my parts there except my FMIC and injectors which should be on the way , my car SHOULD be done within the next 3 weeks

Thats what Adam told me about the conversion too. What bumper are you getting? Are you getting the Do-luck hood as well?

i was not given a choice of bumper which upset me a bit he never told me i had one then i read about it on the site i got no options on any piece

I originally paid half for my motor back in January and was promised to have it by february. As we all know that did not happen so I cancelled my order with Adam on a wednesday, ordered my front clip from Phase 2 Motortrend on thursday and had my front clip sitting in my shop the following monday. Phase 2 owns me, less than 5 days from order to recipt of the clip and it was PERFECT!

Rod knock eh? What a bull****ter, he told me the same thing about the motor he was supposed to send me.

great, now i gotta wonder and worry for a 8 month wait. i talked with adam last monday and he said that the next shipment of motors wouldnt be in til around aug. 20 or the beginning of september and mine would be on there. by the sounds of it thats not going to be the case. going to have to call on monday and see whats up. i need the motor no later than the end of september:mad:

Considering I never trusted that kid from day one when he started advertising his engines LAST SEPT....I am not in anyway suprised at seeing this thread. The fact that people are still waiting and GO ALONG with it is mind boggling to me. Wake up people you could of had an engine 6 months ago if not sooner (in referrence to Keyy's experience).

The odds are unfortunately good Paul, that and one other problem - feel free to call me about it. Additionally, the employees I was talking about were not Torry, and Torry is in with them now, so that's a long story as well, another thing you are free to call and ask me about. I am trying my absolute best to take care of everyone, and I am doing it as fast as i possibly can. Everything will be taken care of in the very immediate future and then hopefully everyone will be happy or as close to happy as I can make them and we can all move on. : )

The only thing he mentioned to me was that one week he had been told his car was finished and it wasn't, I have said as little as I possibly could about you guys, and kept it as civil as possible.

Yes, because my theory on civil is letting people believe that we:

1) are liars2) got fired3) are now in on some secret society with torry and were holding some mutinous plot

...is very civil, when you know damn well every singly one of those things isn't true. If you are unsure of why any of us left Adam feel free to IM me. Or maybe you can just send your girlfriend to talk to me like you did when she came to get my key to the shop.

1) I didn't lead him to believe anything, I didn't know that was said until I logged in tonight.

2) I didn't tell him you were fired, he made that assumption on his own, another thing I didn't know until I logged in.

Lastly, I didn't send my girlfriend to talk to you, she did it on her own because she was at the mall. I didn't ask for it right away because I didn't want to fight with you and I was more concerned with Jay's key.

Why would we have a reason to fight Adam? I wasn't angry until I felt I was no longer trusted enough by you to hold a key to a shop where I still have possessions.

I don't know why we'd have a reason to fight which is why I didn't feel like taking the chance. I just figured there would be one seeing as how your stuff was gone with everyone elses. I see the Torry plot thing is back, and there are all sorts of plots from what I'm told. I don't really feel like getting into this on the boards, as it's not really the place to do it, but you're more than welcome to IM me as well if you so desire.

What "dealings" between me and Jay are you referring to? Please enlighten me. Do you mean talking to him on the phone? Is there something wrong with that? Hell, if that's the case, then I guess I've had "dealings" with Justin, Dave, Joel.....lets see who else from Iowa I've talked to since I moved. What about Jeff? I talk to him once in awhile.

And as for my trip down there....what does that mean? I can't visit friends? Hang out? It's not like it's even that big of "trip." It's only a couple hours away.
