I assume you are talking about the 2.5" kit they sell on the site... I understand those put alot of stress on the CV joints. Are their anymore of these limited production spacers available stateside, or is there a feasible way to get them imported into the states? 2.5 sounds fun, but 3.5 shounds a bit more fun, w/o going overboard.

No the 2" lift kit sold is done by changing the springs. Its only suggested that you install a spacer of no larger than 1" otherwise you are putting serious stress on you CV joints. However you can go with a sub-frame drop, which is how a couple of people have been able to fit 33-35" tires. This corrects the angle issue. There is no American company persa' that is building the sub-frame drop but if you "ask around" there are a couple of people who are building this kit independently & are more than reliable. Hope this helped.

What size wheels and tires do you have in those stock pics? That looks good. Also, have you had any problems with the electronic 4x4? I hate that push/turn button crap, but I didnt know how it did on the QX4. Thanks.

I haven't had any problems with the all-mode 4wd, and the low-range is actually a bit lower than in a manual-shifter Pathfinder (I'm told). The auto is a nice feature for driving in rain or in mixed ice/snow.

However, I'd never consider using manual hubs with it, but I'd love to have them. Also, I keep thinking I'm going to break something. I don't like complicated things.

Welcome to NICO, bishop!

A guy named Keith was the first person (that I know of anyway) to make one of these lifts in the US. There was a lot of interest in them, so he decided he was going to sell them. He made two test kits and sent them out, and that QX4 received one of them. He decided that he wasn't going to sell them. I think due to how much work it would be and liability.

That's where I decided that I would take over the project and make them available to the public. Basically took Keith's lift design and changed a few things, and now it's in the testing phase as well. I promise I won't disappear anytime soon.

Here's the main pieces of the kit:
Where can I get one of these lifts or at least the specifications so I could have a local machine shop build it for me? How can I get ahold of this Travis Morgan fellow?
