your cold pipe and plastic cover look different from most NEO's i've seen, you may have a newer or older one...did you by chance see if the crank snout was good?

more pics of the truck s13!

solid lifters man are just that...solid. if you were to take one out all you would see is a bucket style cap with a stem inside of it that is used to push on the tip of the valve. they are made of high quality material and normlly would never ever wear out. those types of lifters you dont shim, rather they have a mutitude of sizes like 57 or so i think that you have to choose from. so if you ever hear a tapping noise coming from an engine that has solid lifters styles like our engines then there is more than likley a serious clearence issue. engines equipped with solid lifters from the factory generally are very quiet, however if you ever doa valve job you might want to get ready and open up the wallet cause your prob going to have to change every lifter in the head cause like i said they come in a large vareity of sizes.

it's so damn cold here, anything below 30 blows. should be warmer this sat though, and i'm off, so should be getting closer to retiring from the nrrba

sorry for the noob questions but I am about to buy a 95' 240 with a RB25det neo and I was wondering if parts are hard to come by, obviously you guys don't have too much troubles. But like pistons rods camshafts are those all the same as the regular RB25 or Is there some special site and place to get those, thanx in advance for the help.

If I may ask where is your source of parts for the neo and are there any issues with interchange, like do most of the parts on a regular RB25det fit or are there no similarities. Im gonna order a service manual from ebay just so I can answer some of my own questions but right now I still have quite a bit. Like im gonna order a service/parts manual for a r34 skyline Im hoping thats how I can get a hold of the neo manual.

http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/rb/

dont buy a e-bay fsm just download the one on the site.there is only a few diffrences between the neo and a serise 1,2 diff cam's diff lifters diff injectors and throttle setup cus the r34 came with some flyby wire bs but if you get a greddy intake and q45 TB dont have to worry about that and a diffrent clutch type but you can convert it.found direct replacement injectors here http://www.deatschwerks.com/ca...d=208

tomei make pon cams for the neo the solid lifters not to sure were to get new ones or if there is any after market ones.

im sure ive messed some stuff im sure somone else can fill in some more info hope this maybe helped a lil.

some websites i look at for parts.http://www.tweakit.com.au/shop/index.ph ... out_us.htm

I have a neo waiting to go in next weekend. Ive owned it for about a month now. Its sexy but ive been gettin ****ed hardcore on the harness since it came all hacked up. I might end up doing it by myself, but i havent found any information on pinouts except from the R34 service manual. It cant be that hard right? Im a computer nerd too so building PCs and wires are my thing lol

I'm outside of Otown, but 90% of my day is spent in Otown.

I know all man! If its RB I'll know about it.

Yea man, looked for an axle for you through a supplier but he didn't have any on the shelf but could rebuild it given you didn't actually snap the axle.

Just lookin out man. Did you get any clean passes though?

yeah i got one pass and got kicked off the track.lol..(no helmet)...spun like amadman out of the hole but still managed a 1.9 60ft had good bosot through second till i hit third gear and could only manage .8 bar (my boost controller is a bit tempermental at times...lol.. when i hit fourth the boost came on strong 16psi which is what its set for and still managed a 12.44 @114.4..a buddy of mine was also there and loaned me his helemt after he got done but tranferred some bad "JOO-JOO" with him giving me the helmet . didnt even get out of the water box and snapped an axle..its ok though they were stock axles and they have been through 8 years of pure hell ..i did find a full skyline setup online that im going to get ..so ill be selling my vlsd thats in my car that still works fine if anyone wants it. S14 VLSD with the stock 6 bolt flanges
