So I was driving through the Dublin region of Columbus when I came up to a redlight, some dude in a 2007-2008 BMW 528i pulled up next to me. The light turned green, and tire squealing erupted from both of our cars the BMW took the lead till about 20mph when we evened out then I just slowly pulled ahead and at 60mph I had the lead by about 2 car lengths. I let off at about 65 and he kept going. At the next light he gave me a dirty look... he was probabally just mad that his car cost 10 grand more and was slower... Might I add that my car is completely stock. So what kind of cars have the rest of you a/c owners beat?

lol all my friends drive hondas and i've beaten them all. My buddy has a integra GSR that i beat from a dig. We were even till about 30 then i pulled. Got him by about 3 cars. I've also beaten a GSX from a dead stop. I've raced a whole lot of cars at the track and beaten them. I was going to race my uncles RSX-S but he blew the motor when he mis-shifted. We're still waiting to hear from Honda if they'll fix it or not... COUPE FTW!!!

not to be a killjoy but the mods are usually pretty cool until you start posting threads about street racing... Anyway, the 528i has the same 230hp engine that the 328i has, you'll do that everytime, but it'd be a different story with the 335i or 535i...

07 civic si, 07 mustang, g35 coupe, 06 altima se-r, bmw z3, bmw 328i, scion tc, lexus IS 250... But all at the track of course

acura rsx, integra, accord both I4 & V6, another altima coupe, Audi S4 (on the freeway) and the mustang HE was racing, impala, sebring, 325i, civics, and my favorite was the CLS I smoked from a redlight... that was priceless. there's more but I can't remember off hand.

Those aren't real races dude, those are people that you just blew past and they weren't trying... most of the cars on that list would smoke a 2.5 easily!

I beat a 3.5 Altima Coupe with my turbocharged Saab in Manual mode instead of Auto. A/C was Manual, but I think the guy almost threw his transmission. His shifts weren't the greatest.

Well, in a matter of speaking you're right. However, the 328i houses the 3.0L engine from the old 330i. The 2.5 engine is done Its to slow to keep up with anything Merc makes now. The 335i is just in its own class of 3 series

that sounds about right because the 325i was the lowest and now the 328i is the lowest and the 330i was the high one and the 335i is the new high one.

i lost track of how many cars i raced, only a couple beat me too..... i vividly remember this one, i was having a bad day and tried to race a LS1 z28....... then out of no where i hear the whine from his supercharger and see him fly past me said he was pushing 400+ WHP lol
