Another genesis coupe thread

Altima is for people who think push button is a luxury option. Genesis is for people who think chilled seats and self leveling projector headlights are desired options. Am also thinking power and warranty, and Genesis has the upper hand (or tire)

In the end, depending on one's wallet, both are good coupes for A to B Looking forward to race you hehe

Err. I think you posted a picture of the Genesis Sedan because that interior looks uber luxurious. Al lthe pictures Ive seen of the coupe have had reallly crappy interiors, but then again, they could just import the sedan interior into the coupe (Like our cars).

Chilled seats = opposite of heated seats, They're getting pretty popular.

sammy - yes, from what I read in korean magazines the interior will move from the sedan to the coupé, as the interior has been a hit for 2008 H sales

danny - I got it after a 5 week wait. Paid it in full to make sure dealer won't have a problem with the mods; Installed HID in fogs. I've contracted someone out in Vancouver for projector fogs. Decided the orange was annoying so modified the instrument cluster. Put Eibachs on it last week. My previous cars had Eibachs, time for stock ride and no more kidney replacement due to bumps with lowered cars. I'm confident will remove them soon. Installed switchback 3157 LED as the signal lights: now the vehicle is running a complete white front end; LED turns from white to amber when changing lanes, to keep it legal. Tinted it / purchased the rear LED tails.

It's a fun lil car to customize, waiting to meet the other Calgaryan active member EMP to get more ideas.

So someone enlighten me as to why the Genesis coupe would be cheaper than the sedan? If the sedan is $32,250 MSRP, why would the coupe be cheaper? Aren't all coupes more expensive than sedans? (The only exception would be Honda) So if one is going to be spending $32k PLUS... Why not buy a 370Z that's got more HP/TQ AND is cheaper? (at 30k) Interior??? REALLY? You care about interior? I'm not saying Nissan has got the greatest interior but it's got a certain standard there. Please, for the love of yourself... Don't get a Hyundai!

The Genesis coupe and sedan have completely different engine options and completely different sheet metal. The price of the coupe and the sedan have nothing to do with each other.

cheap rwd car with F/I engine and track suspension with a real LSD for 23K?! mustang, 370z , and g37 better watch out, cuz this thing is performance bargain.

(just so you understand my point of view, I"M NOT TALKING ABOUT LOOKs, BRAND, OR CREATURE COMFORTS! so no point in telling me its looks like ****, or the Hyundai brand is the sux or the g37 is way cooler )

My thoughts exactly. I'm excited just seeing the car in motor sports way before it is even released out of Korea. We'll see how well it fares in Formula Drift.

I would definitely love to see Keiichi Tsuchiya drive the car in Touge Showdown and give his own views on it.

to each his own, i think it looks better... some parts of the AC i like better, but overall i think the genesis coupe looks better. im not gonna expect people to agree with me on a altima coupe forum obviously.

this car is hot i wouldnt be surprised if i find myself trading in my coupe for it of course if i get a good deal. only downside is its a hyundai but its def nicer and more aggresive then an altima coupe

the only downside to this car is its a hyundai logo on it lol cant wait for the rspec to come out this summer will give me enough time to see how the car does in the market and will give me time to save money for aftermarket parts(turbooo)

a. i guess if yall like that, ima go n fall in love with the accord coupe..b. i rem, someone saying nissan took the idea of push start from lexus and such, but only after nissan did it, did others see it as 'cool' or as a idea to try in their cars. i know it wasnt exclusive, but you can tell when people are following/copying .. the gencoupe got the buttons on the door, and the lil port on the side for they key fob to charge. and the bulky key fob.. cmon now.c. is that why hyuandai named it genesis? so they owners could just call it a G coupe? lol "man its in the g.." when we know the only G is the g35,37. medhi, them pics were nice, but lets see what happens.. how they gon make this and nissan /honda dont? lol "your just too good to be true.. can't take my eyes off of you..." lol

I don't get why the haters on this forum can't give the genesis any credit. If you were to see that black genesis above without knowing it was a Hyundai you would probably think it looked crazy good, but since everyone has a Hyundai bias it "looks like shi*". Its almost like being racist... manufacturist...

Not asking anyone to like the car, just asking if its a good buy/deal/car.. - all the biases.
