Another genesis coupe thread

I don't get why the haters on this forum can't give the genesis any credit. If you were to see that black genesis above without knowing it was a Hyundai you would probably think it looked crazy good, but since everyone has a Hyundai bias it "looks like shi*". Its almost like being racist... manufacturist...

Not asking anyone to like the car, just asking if its a good buy/deal/car.. - all the biases.

chow, the genesis, is EFFING GOOD! it's what enthousiasts have been waiting for years. anyone else not getting that is an idiot.

I couldn't care less if it looked like a turd because it's CHEAP, it's got TURBO, FREAKING HLSD, REAR WIN DRIVE, MANUAL TRANSMISSION and space for 4!people can comment all days long about anything they want, but the fact is, this is the perfect enthusiast car.

to the guy who said the genesis stole the 09 coupe 3.5 wheels..actually the genesis came out BEFORE the 09 coupe did so...more like the altima stole the genesis wheels. Seriously so much hate for the genesis, those car kick our car asses in so many ways 4 cylinder and v6 wise

you dont need to see the badges, all you got to see is that it looks exactly like another nice popular car but a cheap crappy version.... a lot of people hate hyundai because other companies take risks and make make cars that might be viewed as amazing or viewed as ugly and then hyundai just comes along and makes a cheap crappy version of the car.... like the hyundai with a wanna be E-class front or the hyundai that is a wanna be Honda Accord.....

my family has Nissans, benz, ford, chevy, honda, but not 1 hyundai and we plan to keep it that way.... this is the ALTIMA COUPE specific section so this thread needs to be moved to the proper section that no one looks at.... flame on, in a different section of course!

SRT-4??? those were cheap, fast as hell, could fit 5 people, good on gas.... but if thats all you're looking for, why did you get an altima coupe? my dad bought my car cash and i had the opertunity to get many other cars but i chose the altima coupe because it has a balance of amazing looks, good power, nice interior, good fuel economy.... i have tons of friends with mustangs and could smoke my *** all day....

I love my coupe like no other, and there is a difference between love and blind fanboism. Being open minded enough to see the qualities in competitor or their product is important. I'm going to be the first one to defend my altima coupe and you know it. but when I see random bashing of other cars, and even worse, when it's just based on brand, omg thats like car racism (haha!)

anyways, hussain, hyundai way more than earned their glory time and what they did with the genesis coupe is exactly what every enthusiast has been wanting for years.

I'm not comparing genesis coupe to our car. FWD vs RWD is like comparing apples to oranges. genesis coupe is the best thing to happen to car racing, drift and autocross for years. Altima coupe is the best thing to happen to young mans and girls wanting gorgeous style and practicality with great fuel efficiency in a sexy package. it's like those too thing complement themselves wonderfully.

I might even one day buy a cheap used genesis coupe to drift and I wouldn't be ashamed of it one bit. doesn't do anything to the fact that the altima coupe is awesome.

there's enough place in the awesome section for more than one car.

it would be a decent car to have for drifting if you got a used one hella cheap like 5-10 years from now. but when you were saying how great it was and then speed is all you were looking for i was like wtf? lol

no one is hating.. well i mean on my end. lol/ I cannot stand copy cats.. so im with the comment about "then they come along n make a crappy vr of it" ive said what i liekd about it, and what i didnt. i guess we will have to learn to get along.. o yea, the gen coupe wasnt out before the altima 09, so what you talking about? cause the 09 sedans are out or coming but not the coupes.. so the "they stole our rims" is still valid. lol*found it.. about us getting along..*

Seriously how many cars out there is a copy cat of another car? deal with it the genesis isnt the first to do so. After looking at a couple of pictures on gencoupe.com it is safe to say genesis owners have better taste in rims than altima owners here do. You dont see no big *** two tone chrome out rims on any genesis like most altima owners here.

It was out in Korea before the 09' Altima Coupe was out. The reason why you think they copied the wheels was because it's not yet here in North America.
