as for your current calipers, if you want them to stick out, maybe yellow..or black...just my opinion lol
I really don't want the calipers to pop any more than they already are... Lol! But I want them to look clean!! Not crusty like the stock silver is right now... :gotme

I think I'll do black... Red would definitely Pop out too much!! It'll be temporary anyways...

here's a link painted-calipers-with-infiniti-decals-i ... 20calipersi found that shows both red and black. For your color car I would do black on the oem calipers. When you have nice rims the calipers tend to be the 2nd thing that people look at and it sucks that ours look fugly rather quickly compared to other cars.

Yup thats what I did, Black with silver Infiniti letters (no emblem). It's some what hard to see on my car because I have a 10 spoke wheel but they can be seen.

Thanks man :bigthumb: I already have those letters in the white so I'll use those over the black... It's only going to be on for a short while... 6 months or so (I hope) :gotme

The car looks great =). I'm just curious though. Is there a reason you went from 22" to 20"?

Main reason was many JDM wheels don't go over 20" some are 21" plus wanted to go staggered and getting lower!! 22" will restrict you from going lower before you must make custom body modifications.... Again I wanted to go lower...plus true JDM wheels... What do you think??

22" fit nice and flush with the eibach drop or coilovers... Plus you have a lot more ground clearance!! If you're not looking to be lower plus fills the wheel well perfect!!
With 22" I could go anywhere and not worry about scraping... Now its a different story...

Thanks for the explanation. I've been going back and forth for weeks trying to decide if I should get 20's or 22's. I'm not looking to get lower then the eibachs so I may do the 22's, just trying to decide on which wheel. I like the Vossen CV1s, but I also like a wheel with a nice lip....=)

check out a thread title "2006 M35 on 22" lowering questions please help" our search user "tbelcher" he had an 08 on cv1 22" and look great!! He hasn't posted pictures on his own thread but posted a few on this other guys thread that I've giving you... Tires he went with are 245/30/22" that's what I always used.he went with 22"x9" +38 offset on all four corners!! Good luck deciding!!

But I already had these wheels before I sold the WORKS!! Maybe next time I'll be back on 22"!!! Specs are: 20x9" +32 front 20x10.5" +42 rear, both clear BBK!! :bigthumb:

Oh yes!!! That's nice... I think we can run 10.5" all around with 265/35/20" rubber!! I really think the front would clear and the 265/35 is not much of a stretch. It allows just that allowed stretch to tuck the tires and poke a little wheel!!! :dblthumb: Can't say foe sure though :gotme ...

one day put your rear on the front and snap a pic with 20x10.5 all on the same side, it should work ive seen people run more aggressive up front and have no problems.

No rubbing at all!! Front 235/35/20" Rear 265/35/20" NITTO I'm going to try the 265/35/20" rears on the front... I hope they fit, looks like they would :gotme

I was running 245/35/20" front and 275/30/20" rear Hankook with my WORK wheels also no rubbing at all!!

I must have put on about 3 or 4 coats... I used the whole can in grill and upper chrome piece! :bigthumb: No clearcoat, just armor all from time to time!

Grill came off..very easy btw! I believe just two plastic tabs on top (open hood) you have to remove, then just get a tight grip from each side and pull firmly(mainly from the bottom) then snap out the Infiniti logo emblem and clean it before spraying it.
I set it on the ground on a large piece of cardboard and sprayed away at it!!

Yo BodyGuard!!! What up man...you're car looks bad-a$$!!! Love the wheel choice... You are killing me with the swaps of wheels  Kinda like me and my basketball shoes -- gotta change up once in awhile :chuckle: Also, so you prefer the Eibachs over the D2 Coils?? Seems like I've been seeing more and more D2 coils being taken off rides...

man...I'm looking for a new set of wheels also...I'm trying to get a test fit done with a company down here in So Cal -- VMR wheels...I purchased wheels from them back in the day when I had my German cars...now they are getting into the Import set ups...

I'm looking at the VMR V710 (mesh look) but the guy says the wheel specs will be:

19x8.5 f (offset 35)
19x9.5 r (offset 22) **not too sure of the fitting** maybe you can give some advice on it...

here's a pix of what I'm looking to get...

Damn CPJ, that's a nice set if wheels!! I like!! :dblthumb: front can be a bit more aggressive (somewhere around +30 or 32 offset) at 8.5" or 9" wide! The rear is for sure Too aggressive for our car but works with stretched tires... Like possibly 255/35/20" on your 9.5" wheel. Its not too wide but offset is aggressive so you would still need a slight stretch and the 255/35/20" should give you that!! Are you into the stretch?? Because on an 8.5" front and 9.5" rear setup you can go with 225/35/20" front and 245/35/20" rear works really nice!!

I agree, the look is nice....btw, I currently run 19"s...so I will get the 19" set up mentioned above, but the tires I'm running now are 245/40/19 f 275/35/19 r ... so will I be able to use the same size for the rears if I get those wheels???
