To be honest I am not feeling them, Lambo doors look wrong on cars with the door frame on the top. Even then lambo doors belong on lambos.

And I might as well post it first;

but its your coupe if you like then thats the bottom line.

Would definitely help in tight parking spaces

I like the look but how far do they open? Seems too tight of a squeeze to get in and out on a frequent basis.

After a while you get used to it.

Actually it is wide enough for my gf to get in without having to put them up.

i have to admit....and i am sure others can too....the car is clean! and we have seen alot worse things done to a cpe than verticals!

what are the cost of thoes things...i hear about 2g's or more...is it true?..if so id rather have put thoes $$ in the "turbo" bank!

they look good on your car... but they're definitely played out around here. I've seen to many corollas with chrome hubcaps that have lambo doors and they bother the **** out of me. I like em, but like spinners, the hood ruined it for me... they look good though.

I originally thought someone bumped that one... and then I searched for the original thread, started reading through it again, and then I completely forgot what a that guy was and then when I read that I knew I just had to take it... IMO it covers alot of the reposts that have been popping up lately.

the fact that this is the first one ive seen with the lambo doors i give you huge respect, as for lambo doors they are a little bit too much "boy racer"

My posts in the last thread says it all.... mark my words... in a year or so from now...

YOU WILL BE SORRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

after valet's, auto mechanics, and passengers take a wack at em a few times... you're gonna bang up the sides of the doors.... the will begin to sag and not move in perfectly anymore, and you'll have to constantly adjust em......

I wouldn't put those things back on another one of my cars if someone paid me to do it!!!!

veryone is saying if you like em that's all that matters... well that's true, but don't expect a round of applause from many folks on this forum (other than mchedaddi maybe), but he's Canadian and I guess these are actually still cool in canada ... but seriously, the vast majority of folks on THIS forum will tell you that's a very RICE thing to do to your car... you made it slower, and its just plain played out...!!!! hey you asked us what we think!!

I dont think it looks ricer at all.. only one decal, and its a nissan one.

I dig the way it looks though, maybe bc its white... idk.

Theres cheapo kits for like $500, then ones for $2k... i hope it lasts the life of the car with no issues!

NICE WORK!

BTW its an awesome way to show off a set of Doc Feelgoods kickplates!

LBC has got the right idea for this, you need to get a set of the docs kickplates, they would be downright sexy

OK, I would like to edit my last comment... these are cool ONLY if you rock the Illuminated Kickplates!!!

LBC, its not just about the quality of the kit... GT Factory makes some of the best kits around.... the price of doing this usually varies due to install prices...

there is NO WAY this will last the life of the car.... the problem is not in the welds, its in the design of these kits...

Murcielago doors (not Gallardo) go UP only, that way, when they close, its perfect...

aftermarket kits open out, and then up... its the only way to clear the fender and door lock mechanism...

that's where the design flaw and rate limiting factory is in all of the kits... the in and out mechanism is not perfect, and allows some flex to keep the kit from bending or beaking... its the flex area that cause the doors to bang when not closed properly....

honestly guys, unless you all have actually owned a car with lambo doors installed, and saw them go from perfect to less than perfect... you can't really speak on where the flaws are in these kits and why these kits are ALL DOOMED TO EVENTUALLY FAIL AND DAMAGE YOUR DOORS PERMANENTLY!!!!
