if that one item is so ridicuously pointless, and is done only to give the look of being faster than it is.. then yes, one item has the potential to turn your car into a ricer...

if you have a giant spoiler on the back of your car, then its a rice rocket

you asked us what we think, and with the exception of a few folks that think it looks good, but have no experience on the actual depreciation you're doing to your car... most folks thinks its a played out pointless mod that borderline qualifies you as a ricer..

look, if you do it for you, then great, but don't do it, then come on a forum asking guys what we think, and then get upset when you find out what folks REALLY think when you pass by them and lift your doors up...

when the door is closed (which i would say 99.99999% of the time it is while driving) the car wouldnt look any faster with lambo doors so how is it rice?

Yea sorry bro, just aint fealin the lambos on a nissan. I wouldnt consider it rice but I would say they have no place in the A/C world. Don't get me rong, its your tast and it looks clean but Lambo doors belong on a lambo, just like infinity badges belong on infinitys. If you want to turn your car into something its not then maybe you shouldnt of bought a A/C. The only reason people do these things is because they can't afford the real thing, but they want people to think they can.

Do you also put Versace tags on your levi's to make people think you have money?

I find it funny that ppl take so much time explaining why they think somthing looks bad.... if they think it looks good its usually a simple post "looks good man!" if they think it looks bad they continuosly rant on and make fun of it, then a couple posts later sit and rant again about how this is a general chat and if they ask for an opinion blah blah blah..... my question is why hate sooooo much?

More people may mod their cars and be hesitant to even post pics due to the negative responses and harshness....and I love seeing ppls mods (whether I like them or not).....I personally would be hesitant to post mods I did for fear of being kicked in the groin right after I spent my money

I think they look pretty tight. To say that "lambo doors only belong on a lambo" is being rather elitist anyway, regardless of whether you own a $250,000 car or not. It's the style that people get behind and not the imitation factor.

...and if we're talking about being ricey, I'd have to say that the Greddy exhaust system for our coupes looks far more Fast & Furious than lambo doors...just my $0.02...

I didn't know the complications involved with these doors over time, so many thanks to the Doc for pointing that out...kudos mate.

I share the exact same sentiment. I think that the Greddy exhaust for the A/C looks rice, especially if you get it with the blue tips.

To be honest I am not feeling them, Lambo doors look wrong on cars with the door frame on the top. Even then lambo doors belong on lambos.

If people wanna go rice, let them-- RICE is just a style-- you may not like it but others might. What falls into that "RICE" or other style categories are up to each person-- there is not set list. Like many have said before, everyone is entitled to their own opinion and if you don't like it, good for you.

I don't like the Lambo Doors. Whether it's RICE style or not, I think it's stupid. The blue tipped Greddy's I don't see as RICE as at. I think it gives the car a touch of class, but that's just me.

If thats not true, then why would anyone want to put infinity logos on a car that looks similar. It is probably because the Infinity name is known to be a higher end name and more expensive so they want people to think that it is an infinity. Which would be a easy mistake to anyone that isnt a car enthiust.

Yea I admit i may of been a little hasty on my judgement of the lambo doors. It is very possible that he was just trying to make his a/c unique, which ime sure we all want to do. But in my opinion, I dont believe lambo doors belong on anything but a lamborghini. Hence the name lambo doors.
