That's interesting... mine came with Continentals. Do you have the 2.5 or 3.5? I have the 2.5S w/ convenience package.sandman350 wrote:4 - Get the Bridgestone tires the hell off my car! If I wanted a crappy tire I would buy a crappy car.
This is an interesting point that I never thought about.GV wrote:5. if someone wants to force entry into the cehicle while you are in it, there is no way to keep doors locked (unless you leave the intelligent key at home...) Am i woong about this?
Just tested it. My roommate sat in the car with keyfob in hand and he locked the doors. I'm on the outside and pressed the request switch. The door did not unlock. The car knows the keyfob is inside.GV wrote:5. if someone wants to force entry into the cehicle while you are in it, there is no way to keep doors locked (unless you leave the intelligent key at home...) apart from that everythign is brilliant...
I figured out the chirping noise (with the help of my co-worker who also has an Altima Coupe).ctrlaltcoupe wrote:5. Car chirps/beeps sometimes after shutting off car, haven’t really paid attention to the exact scenario that causes this.
I hate autolock because let say you put the car in DRIVE then someone needed to get in, you then have to unlock the doors manually or put the car in PARK.hangtime23 wrote:One feature I'd like to see added is having the doors auto-lock once you reach a certain speed.
Both my old Toyota Echo and my mom's Jeep Liberty have this feature, and I think it's something very useful - right now, I never bother to lock my doors after I've started driving...
I have to comment on this. I hate autolock as well. It should be an option so that you can have it or disable it. The main reason I hate it is from an emergency point of view. If you are in an accident, or loose consciousness for any reason and your doors are locked, no-one can open your doors and get you out. What if the car catches fire and you're still in it...out cold? You are as good as dead. If I'm in an accident, I want those emergency crews to get me out....fast.hangtime23 wrote:One feature I'd like to see added is having the doors auto-lock once you reach a certain speed.

Hey bembol, your FOB does roll down the windows. You just push the unlock button once to unlock doors, then you push and hold it down for about 5 seconds and the window rolls down until you let go of the button. Unfortunately, you can't roll the windows back up with the remotebembol wrote:So far we only have two...
I wish the KEY FOB could Roll Down & Up all the Windows and including the Moonroof.
My sister wanted a Remote Starter.
What I said was if your car is going a certain speed, then the auto-lock should engage. ie. if your car is in DRIVE, but it is NOT MOVING, then auto-lock will not engage.SHIFT_CR wrote:

Another improvement is they should have placed the RPM Gauge on the right side instead of the left. My arm is always in the way so i cannot see my RPMs.
I see your point, but let me ask you this, buzzman. Do you keep your doors unlocked all the time when you're driving? Personally...I'd prefer to have them locked because I am worried that when I pull up at a light, or something like that, that someone might try to get in and roll me. I actually have had it happen before, I pulled up outside an ATM late at night, and some dudes were around and tried to open my car door...good thing it was locked.Buzzman wrote:I have to comment on this. I know if you shop around, or have a good relationship with a local shop you can find a good deal... but you also have to remember you get what you pay for, so make sure they do a good job as well, as far as legality... I see you're in PA, and I've heard conflicting things about whats legal as far as which windows to tint, so I would try to check your local laws... I know Jersey doesnt allow any tint on the front 3 windows, but I also know a few guys that have gotten away with really dark tint in the back half, and moderate/light tint all around the front half, including the windshield, to make it look normal...dldjros69 wrote:im kinda pissed i didnt opt for the fog lights, now i gotta do that **** by myself, oh well. I always lock my doors, and i want to tint my windows, any suggestions on where to start and basic cost, legal?
Right, and right... I'm not sure what percentage they went with, so that was the best way i could describe it ... I know my one buddy has an S2k, so it's not as easily notisable on his car since his front 3 have a slight tint to them, and the rear windshield is very dark... If anything gets him caught it's the fact that he has a bright yellow car with slight mirror tint to his front windows, he says he hasn't been caught yet though...LongBeachCoupe wrote:In addition, tint is legal/illegal based on your state laws, there is no "light" or "darker".. it goes by percentages of light allowed to pass thru... I have 15% on front 2, 5% on back and quarter windows...
