I talked to the guys at both Ait and Bodykitz.com they said it willbe early next month due to some mods to the front bumper and of course shipping. I asked them about the group buy and its a no. Make you pre order your kit. I have ordered mine Im just waiting for my front bumper to come in. Got everything else already.

from what i heard, or read they might be comign out late oct. early november, due to some manufacting problems?...iunno if that true or not, but i did read it somewhere on this forum...just dont remember where. also that the only difference for this kit is that front bumper, the sides and rear are exactly the same from the wonderous kit for the sedan.

again i read that info somewhere on this forum, but i could be wrong.

i remember reading that about the sides and rear being the same early on but then later on it was said they would indeed be different.. somewhere on this forum.. lol. would be nice to see this full kit come to fruition.

When manufacturers grace us with making parts for the car, its nice to see them stand behind the community that supports their sales, only logical right?

AIT is making these parts largely because of the existence of the collective here... Just seems like it makes sense for them to be involved here!

I finally got my kit shipped and should arrive within a a week. I wont have it installed in time for the End of the year meet in so cal but i willhave other goodies. I recieved the one of the four prototpyes of the front bumper so hope everything will work out well. its been a long time waiting but i guess you gotta be patient. I also ask my guy when it is officially suppose to go out and heres what is said via email:

Hey Andrew, just talked with the head of manufacturing at AIT, they are still several weeks out on the sedan front bumper, they said the re-did the molds and they wont be arriving til late December/Early Jan on both the Altima Sedan GTR with the carbon lip and the Lancer Cweapon front.I cant believe they are taking so long but if you need to confirm you can talk to my AIT rep ***** at ***********. Let me know if you want me to keep your order going, sorry this is taking so long. Simon So its just a waiting process guys

Also I was thinking since they were able to make the CF trunk.

How about have them do a vented CF hood as well? Would anyone by interested on this?

Yes, I know a lot of people have the ED CF hood, but I have seen it and I just think It s too heavy for it to be CF its defeats the whole purpose of decreasing the weight. On the other hand Ive also seen AIT CF hoods and they are much lighter. Plus It will bring more choices to another hood for the AC that can be lighter.

So with that being said would anyone be interested on this.

I would be interested in a CF hood. Currently saving up LIKE CRAZY so i can get my hands on the AIT kit for the sedan, hopefully to have that installed by the summer. but i would like ot see what kind of cf hood AIT makes

Doesnt appear to be happening as of now.

I had emailed AIT several times before SEMA (understandably they were very busy) but I have yet to hear back from them.
