idk about this kit.....but what really pisses me off, is that A LOT of cars today are trying to look like the GTR...those stuuuupid lancers that everyone tries to make look like the gtr....i see eclipses that people try to make look like the gtr....even those stupid scions!! the only people who should be making their cars look like a gtr are the nissan buyers. considering the gtr is a nissan.

errr....what are you talking about?! that is a tuner concept mitsubishi did a LONG time ago and it was before the final look of the gtr was out, plus in mitsuland peoples where doing the "blacking parts of the car" without knowing about the old gtr concept anyhow.

btw that tuner concept eclipse is SEX.

Sorry for the douche-y lateness of pics I think if they just cut like an inch or two off the bottom of the bumper and moved the carbon fiber lip up, the kit would be really nice (no scraping). Scraping at stock height on even moderate dips is pretty ridiculous. What do I do when I'm lowered? And yeah yeah, rims and drop are on the way... if I don't sell it first.

Anyway, flame away!

Oh, BTW, the skirts and rear are not part of the GTR kit. AIT is making separate skirts/rear to go with the front bumper. The ones you see here are for their other kit they made. I think the concept pictures are on a thread in here somewhere.... damn, I was going to link it, but I can't find it.

You'll see final pics of the finished GTR kit + molded wing trunk + carbon fiber roof overlay + other stuff in September.

im not to sure now if i like it or not i mean i do like it but ide need to see it in person bc i KNOW what the stillen kit can look like on my car especially if i add a couple tweaks to it. But well see im not ordering my bumper till dec anyway so i guarentee someone else will have something by then

I like the front and sides but the butt end is fugly. It looks like someone squashed the bottom back portion of the car, lol.

I don't think pictures do the kit justice. The kit does look a lot better in person. I think if the kit was all black instead of grey in the center, it would look slightly better, but that's just me. I think this kit changes the whole look of the car whereas Stillen's kit keeps the OEM look--nothing wrong with either. Hate it or love it, it adds more options for A/C owners, and that's what matters. Oh, and I'll get that number for you. I've just been really lazy--it's coming.

You know, when I first saw it, I probably would have agreed with you, but it grew on me. It has a really subtle OEM look that some people might like. Waxing it is a pain though, the whole time I was clay barring/waxing the bumper I was thinking, "SOO MUCH SURFACE AREA."

If you don't like this rear end, wait for the GTR rear. I usually reserve my opinions on the stuff I'm prototyping for, but that thing looked like the business. I think AIT is also tentatively planning on offering flat exhaust tips that fit perfectly into the exhaust cutouts when you buy the rear bumper so it looks like a perfect fit. I don't know what kind of exhaust tips they're planning, but carbon fiber exhaust tips to go with the carbon fiber theme all around? Yeah. That could be sexy.

The rear bumper does look a bit different in person. I know that I loved it when I saw you guys pulling out of the parking lot.

Glad to hear they are in the process of coming out with new parts though. Not sure if I would like the flat exhaust tips.

You're talkin something like this right...

HAHAHA that looks AWESOME. Ummm... kind of like that, but more like this...

but shaped so that it fills the hole... kind of like this...

but square tips that conform to the shape of the cutout instead of the dual round tips... and not a Ferrari lol.

Sorry, but those are the best pics I could find in the few minutes I searched.

Agree.

Thanks so much for taking the pics, though -- it helps a lot.

I'd like to see some from a bit further away, at angles that show the front and side of the car at the same time, so I can better see how it effects the overall balance of the car.

I like the way the kit looks, it would be nice if the bumpers would make it fit almost to stock height that way when u lower the car it wont scrape as much as most body kits do.

I have put my altima back on stock height to add the GTR Front bumper. do you think it will scratch the carcon fiber lip?
