AIT GTR Front Fascia for Coupes- Interest Poll Release *WHO KNOWS!*

Most of you are probably aware that AIT is developing a GTR style front bumper for the coupes, it is set to release who knows when, its supposed to be out already.

I know you guys go ape s***e about GB's and discounts (something I am trying to setup for us) and I wanted to get a real feel for the interest in the bumper.

If you would only buy it if there is a GB, say so!

Price is TBD so please dont ask me what it is, but just show your interest if you have SERIOUS interest in the part.

ALSO...the lip is going to be modular to give everyone the ability to customize it to their needs. So far it will be available in Carbon Fiber and a paintable version.

not a fan of this bumper..i think a gtr bumper should stay on, a gtr..imo-BUT- id buy that AIT trunk lid that i seen on a old thread awhile back.

I have to admit it does look sweet, BUT I can see this turning into the same thing as putting a g35 wing on our cars....poor man g...poor man GTR. I don't like the nick-names...idk each to thier own. I think it does look awesome tho.

Sorry I didn't take pics.The car I saw had New York plates

He had a pretty cool rear bumper that I haven't seen before. It looked similar to this one. But only the bottom part where it like curves down towards the wheel. This isn't a very good comparison but quickest thing I could find.



I would have asked the guy if I could take pics but I haven't been following the GTR bumper for our car so I didn't know it wasn't out yet

That probably was the G, or Altima sedan. But this gtr bumper will look real nice with black and dark slate/ dark silver theme

i think white will be the best that and red bc than you can offset the color scheme with the center grill area and CF lip

OK the car that you guys saw was most likely the prototype car and yes that is Beatrice's car and yes its black with the GT-R Kit on it with the Roof wing and CF Trunk possibly. Also his GT-R kit should have a CF Lip on it.

Also the kit will be in for coupes and sedans possibly in September.

I know what an Altima Coupe looks like...

It was a black altima coupe, didn't notice if HE had a carbon fiber trunk on it, didn't see a carbon fiber lip either. Looked like he had side skirts but they were very subtle so I don't know...

Theres a cutout, so you could rig a foglight in there if you wanted to... Maybe wont be able to find something thats an exact fit though.

theres always places you can put fogs......its not hard to find custom ones.....n its better bc its more unique

G6 where the hell did you get that from that car blows dont compare our s*** to that piece of crap please.......maybe the altima g35 gtr sure bc the front of that g is really similar to ours once we get that kit on

and its not copying s*** since its within the same company. If you go out and steal the whole design of a car not within the same fam than its copying. Its more they use there best resources. WHAT SELLS THE BEST !!!!! lol i mean the g sold like hotcakes when it came out so they made a nissan that has "similar attributes" to this vehicle and made it fwd so its cheaper and better for the average joe. AND GUESS WHAT IT WORKED!!!!! the car sold like crazy

The reason ppl say it looks like a G6 is because of the back of the car...look at them side by side and you can see. Yes the G6 is a POS but it doesn't really exist anymore so why get offended lol. He just said it looks like one thats all lol.

But the rear of the 2 cars arent that close. there tails are so much smaller than ours.....if anything throw on gtr overlays and it looks damn near like one idk i hate american cars other than vettes lol

Haha yeah, that was me you saw driving around with the gtr front kit and skirts/rear. I have the prototype kit on my car right now. I ran into probably one of you on here at the carl's/green burrito on red hill. It was a dark slate with the stillen kit.

Anyway, I didn't take pictures before because I got my car back dirty. I figured I would take pictures after I washed/waxed the car. But then I decided to drive up north so now it's all dirty again ... haha. So I will take pictures after I wash and wax it again probably tomorrow.

After having looked at it for about a week, the GTR kit is growing on me. It looks better as I get used to it. On the other hand, that extra CF lip has got me scraping all over everything even at stock height. Any kind of dip more than a few inches = scrrrrrrrrrape. So that beautiful CF lip is cracked in one place now.

As for the skirts/rear, those are the handmade prototypes, so they aren't fitted all that well on there, so I decided not to take pictures of those. The kit currently on the car is just temporary until the final GTR kit is finished.
