2.) If its dirty, what can I clean it with? Air Can??
3.) Can I remove the sensor to make the air stop blowing?
Pull the blower fan fuse in the passenger compartment fuse box by your left knee.upenzi wrote:.....Can I remove the sensor to make the air stop blowing?
My bad.upenzi wrote:I'm a lady lol!!
Are you talking about the air conditioner fuse? I didn't see anything on the fuse index that read 'blower fan'.goody94q45 wrote:

Okay...tried that. Didn't work. The air conditioner turned off but the fan at my feet continued. Opened the hood, and removed the blower fuse and BAM!!! No more fan blowing at my feet. I have no air conditioner right now but I can deal with it til I get the time to replace or have the air sensor checked.goody94q45 wrote:There's two 15 amp fuses in the right row labeled "Blower Motor". LOL!! Sounds crazy, I know. The plus is that I'm not usually in my car for long when I go places and I don't rely on the air conditioner for more then a few minutes when I am in the car. I usually just turn it on to cool the car upon first entry (especially with leather seats). After about 10 minutes we roll the windows down.Q451990 wrote:I can't imagine how having no air is better than having non-stop air in ATL in the summertime - but as you said "I'm a lady" so your thermostat may be wired more like my wife's which includes taking a jacket everywhere, even in the summer, just in case a random snowstorm should hit Columbia, SC in August!
Anyhow, I echo Paul's suggestion about taking it to T3. They are a destination repair place for Q owners all over the country! We've had members drive 1000+ miles to have them take care of their Qs, so you're very fortunate to have them just down the road.

I checked around the battery and it's clear. I put the fuse back earlier. It still won't turn over. AND the air didn't come back on either. I'm going to see about jump starting the battery later when my roommate returns. I'm stuck in the housemtzgr777 wrote:I'm not positive it's your battery since it started after you unplugged a fuse, but check your battery for corrosion or leakage of some sort....try brushing off the top of the battery near the solenoids.
Maybe try plugging the fuse back in and using a battery charger for a few hours?
Could you explain what that means? Never have heard of a" clear battery."upenzi wrote:

Not at highway speeds where the increased drag will cancel the compressor running.Paul Wall wrote:Compressor only drags 3-4 HP, But yea you will use a little extra gas.
Clear as in Clean...not dirty...no corrosion or leakage.maxnix wrote:Could you explain what that means? Never have heard of a" clear battery."

If you can't help the problem...how about not saying anything at all. Thanks!Q45tech wrote:Failure to attend Automotive Trade School for 2 years and receive a high GPA AS degree often leaves owners at tne mercy of trained expert technicans.'
Same with not having at least $500 or $5,000 or $15,000 in test equipment.Easier and less expensive to pay someone to rent theirs and their expertise.
Depends how thirsty your horse is!upenzi wrote:
