I'm close to 30 and it seems to me, most 240 owners these days are under 20. I know a lot of people's taste changes as they get older, so they've moved onto luxury cars or higher end sport cars. 240's holds a high sentimental value to me because I've been driving them since 16. I'll probably buy a used C5 or C6 Corvette as my grown up car and share the duties with my 240. Just wondering what's the age of most 240 owners here on NICO.

I turns 31 tomorrow. Luckily, my car buddies don't act like all the drifto-fanboi-whatever crowd. Just love our 240s.

I love my 240 for what it is. Lightweight, rwd, fun and fast car. I hate the image that a lot of kids have given to the 240 these days . Most 240's I see are primered, dented up, and have different colored body panels. Just like how an ugly house brings down the value of an entire neighborhood, ugly 240's kills the image of all other 240's. There was a short time when it was prestigious to own a 240.

Exactly why I won't get rid of it. I'll keep driving this car until my hip breaks and I can't use the clutch. Then I'll swap in an auto.

i'm 16 & noooo i'm not immature when driving. I take that responsibility very well and don't plan on racing on street, strictly track. But i'm glad to have 240 at 16. Mom wouldn't let get a Z32 and i understand that car was to good for a starter for me.

Yeah, I'm 21 and never plan on giving up the 240 for a grown up car (even though i plan on owning a good portion of those). There is just something about the 240 that even though it might not be the most impressive sports car, I will always be attracted to it. Perhaps because it was my first true automotive love.

Where was I for that? That probably subsided sometime around when Tokyo Drift came out.

Well im 20 and I've had a few different performance oriented cars. I think it's just how you are influenced and what you strive for. I saved my money and bought an MKIV supra. I was the only person to have one in my town and I really enjoyed what the car had to offer

Love the profile pic diggles. I just turned 30 out here in beautiful Iraq. haha. I bought my first 240 a 93 hatch when I was 22. I just love the way they look and drive. I also have a 86 300z turbo. But I always grab my 240 keys. Only RWD for me.

I am 21 but I love the 240 for what it is. I have a 98 kouki LE and i plan on it staying stock. I feel like I am preserving history because so many of these cars get modded out it is super hard to find a clean bone stock car.

Got my (only)s13 when i was 18 after a year of saved paychecks, im 20 now(21 next month), this car will be with me until the end haha i don't want anything to happen to my 240 if i sell her, she could get wrecked or riced out don't even want to think about that. I don't personally know anyone else that owns a 240 but the people i see driving around here are all pretty young, with primer and dents and stickers and whatnot.

My cousin bought his 1990 240sx new and has he's sure over 300,000 because the tachometer broke yeeaarrs ago. The clutch replacement is the most major repair. It's still decently sharp because he takes pride in his vehicles.

I'm 20, i bought mine when i was 18 but i loved 240's since i was 15. Bought it auto switched it to 5-spd. I love my car, i drive it daily. And plan to garage it when i get my masters degree(4 more years of fun driving before i have to do this), at that time it will become my all out project car.

Sigged!

I'll be 30 this summer and I feel where you're coming from, man! At our age, I think it's important to consider our 240's toy cars which are not meant to be your primary form of transportation.

At the same time, I don't think you should just go out and add another newer toy car to the stable, which is what the Corvette is... another toy. I arrived at this opinion after considering buying an SC300/400 this summer. Yes, it's more luxurious than a 240, but I'd still manage to turn it into another toy.

As I advance in age and acquire more responsibilities, I find it neccessary to own a car with more utility and comfort along with performance potential. Therefore, this summer, I'll be selling my s14 Zenki to get a 2nd gen GS400. But I hope to keep my s13 forever!
