Thanks! I'm feeling a lot better about the car now that I'm fixing the little things.

Also.. my check engine light came on yesterday, I went to my friends shop and they said it would be the knock sensor & EGR vavle, anyone know anything about that? It makes this knocking sound when it idles...

I agree you made it look like your car was a piece of crap. Its not all that bad. I don't know what's up with the sun roof, but Alekz seems like an overall good car.

Sorry can't help you wth the CEL, but I do know that the knock sensor underneath the intake manifold is a pain in the a** to get too.

(So your really not asian since you DON'T own a camera then huh? =P )

I had a problem with my egr valve. and i had to replace the metal tub that goes from the egr valve to the exhaust manifold (header). i was told before that they are known to clog up. (thats the pipe that goes behing ur engine btw) i've had no problems since with that. And is it ticking or knocking that you hear? Because if its a tick you might just need your lifters adjusted Maybe.

Yeah my friend says it couldn't be my EGR valve cause my car runs fine. So...who knows. but the light is very annoying lol

Oh, also...I need new struts pretty badly, and so I figured.. why not drop it while I'm at it?

SO my question for you boys is..Recommended struts/shocks for Tein S Techs? Imagine Nebraska with horrid roads and pot holes filled that became pot holes again. Our roads here look like they were made by children.

For right now I'm looking for shocks/struts and then a set of tein s techs, I just don't know which shocks/struts would go well with the tein's. I've heard tokico blues blow out pretty quickly and kyb gr-2's don't do so well with lowering springs.. so all I know that is left is the AGX but I don't have money for that!

you sure you dont want any coilover setup?

i had agx struts with tanabe springs on my 14 and i was totally dissapointed in the drop. although it handled good and was very comfortable. I still ended up selling the setup for 300.

remember if you do it right the first time you wont go waste money like i did

hmmm, I don't have money for coil overs right now haha, I mean I will eventually but I want a temp. drop. But I think I'm going to buy struts/shocks first since I need to replace it badly, and also my brakes are pretty messed up and found a deal for all 4 brakes off a 300zx for $200, good deal?

Nah I backed out, looked, no one was there, then when I was moving out she was there! I was about a whole S14 car length out of the space before I bumped into her. and the bumper is just scratched, and it kind of popped out not even an inch on the left side.

car isn't registered but I got insurance the day after I brought it back here from SD.

I miss having this kind of ground clearance. You can take that thing anywhere.

Actually, my car had a visit with the dentist. No more teeth.

I need to take some new pictures now that I cut the teeth off, and tinted the parking lights and turn signals amber.

I feel like I can go off roading with my car it's so high off the ground lol.

Oh, called insurance, not covered for collisions. Since the rear isn't too bad I'll just save til I can get a kouki conversion and paint. hopefully that won't be too far into the summer when I do this.

Got my gauge cluster, dash painted, and driver airbag comes in Thursday. Interior should be looking decent after the weekend!

before you put the headliner, you should have a body shop weld a new roof on the car. I did this on mine because I used to have an aftermarket sunroof that the original owner put in. Convert your car to sunroof less, the way it was, and it will look and feel ten times better.

Well the sunroof would work fine if there a motor to get it TO work, I'm just looking for a temp fix, I think after a while, probably before winter I will get the same sunroof into working order. Unless that'd be a no?
