After running G35 for 7k miles I can tell that there's a lot of room for improvement. VQ runs pig rich below 3500rpm on stock settings. 3.5 litre with 10.5:1 compression should be capable of pushing more than 220whp, which is VERY conservative. Whereas new exhaust/intake will add 15whp I'm convinced that the key for tunning most NIssan engines is playing with AF ratios and timing. And in the case with AEM it seems like insttead of using static maps their software always pushes it to the safe limit at various RPMs/conditions.
