Theres a rather large group of us that Drift , Auto X and even NASA. We're all between the ages of 24-39. We have no interest in parts/settings that have no function. What your saying sounds like the gay guy that thinks just because he preaches being gay is great , everyone should be gay. When that "scene" your into does become big (i guess its VIP?) none of us are are going to pay it any mind because its not what we are about. Im not putting you or what your into down , i just dont like you saying once this scene hits , we're gonna jump on its c@ck , its just not gonna happen. I seen a few VIP cars in a couple of magazine and they look ok , but to me it seems to be more of an auto fashion / status thing where even the tiniest thing like a Junction Produce Fusa bumps up your cool factor. I could be wrong , but you get my point.
the cool thing, i drift too..congrats

it is a status thing. completelyi can afford to build a higher end drift car, and a two higher end (albeit one kidna older) as VIp.

but regardless, what the **** does this have to do with camber ****ing up yuoru suspension geometyy

This thread is so boss for so many reasons. I love the fact that the "race" guys had to come in here to flame the thread and then act all like they are the victims...haha. Come on guys, you really think we're that stupid? Oh wait...that's right you do!! (insert lame idiot name calling joke here)

VIP is a status thing, we won't lie. We do like the way it looks so yes, it is an auto fashion (Freddie don't sue me) thing...but we also have made cars built farther than your so called "race cars"...well, minus the glorified go-cart. We can appreciate all styles which apparently you lack the ability to do, and I guess it's okay..so do as slappy said.

Thats fine and i understand. But i dont like when those people that "dont care" try and give information and advice on what they "dont care" about , or make fun of guys like me that "do care" , just because my car isnt 1" off the ground tuckin 18's and JDM fabulous.
It;s just information that is used to achieve different mean, ie: fitting crazy fitment wheels.

So VIP is JDM for a new Charger with 24's. Ghey?!?!

I would take CCW's over any of these so called baller wheels.

Oh and this so called VIP thing has been around for awhile and it already is a bandwagon, you guys are just late to the party. Go pick up a Eurotuner magazine and you will see what I mean.

That might be because they're not dumb enough to run on the autobahn with -15 degrees of camber. Ever test out your braking distances from 60 or 100 or more mph?

FREAKIN A, he didn't start the thread to give light to proper track set-ups, or tell people how adversely their suspension may affect their cars braking distance or any such thins...

...REASON FOR SUSPENSION ARMS...

Give it a break, seriously go start your own thread.

And go Ron Paul, lol.

Seriously he states one of the reasons for needing arms when fitting aggressive wheels. That what it started as,m and it should be like that.

to be fair this isn't close to the reason for suspension arms...at best its how to fit goofy looking wheels but he doesn't talk about the reason for a single one of the arms or what they are really doing.

Nor did I suggest that Grant had done just that, merely implying that others dissatisfaction with this thread is not warrented given his purpose and direction of the thread, no one in here has any obligation to teach others the "proper" way to set up their suspension. Espcially when the thread is titled as A reason for suspension arms.

Its not about being obligated though....There are a ton of people who use this place to learn, people who don't know any better and wouldn't know that this is is really only a good source if of info if you want to put wheels that don't fit on your car so you can impress others on the internet.

If he wants to make writeups on extreme wheel fitment fine, I doubt you will find us much in the thread....but if you make a write up on the reason for your suspension linkages and all you do is tell people "buy these parts and if you change them it will change other stuff" well...expect some one to say something.

I agree the thread overall (not just the original topic) is pretty rediculouse, but only because yokita and widebody keep arguing and talking about "yeah! come fit the wheels I fit, and dream the dreams I dream..." that people keep bickering with them. If he didn't keep this going and try and have comebacks it would have died out pretty quickly.

Full suspension...as in EVERYTHING, 2+2 TT swap & manual conv. with twin plate OS Giken clutch/flywheel combo, 6 piston AP brakes (Brembo rears), ridiculous wheels (I know how you guys love them!) RT615 tires (daily), 1pc lightweight drive shaft, yada, yada, LSD this, lower gears that, Signal quick release something or other, Momo Rally round thing...you know all that stuff they don't put on race cars or that add functionality...

Yes, sarcasm. Stickers are for that extra rice factor that my sponsors love. 100%...not just thanks for the good discount. But what do I know about building cars...I've only worked at a few well know and respected shops.

VIP is like the top Pokemon card...yah, it's that cool.
