In canada its 400 plus and dealer says electronic components are non-refundable so there is a risk

I dunno. US-built models all show -4BU0C, -6FL0C, or -6FL2C. The -4BU0D doesn't show up at all. But we know from prior experience that the C/F display is definitely determined by the Auto Amp programming. I don't know what to tell you regarding the supersessions, maybe they're US-model typos.

@ikalinin @VStar650CL I got the box from kalinin. Part number is 27760-9TG1D. Though his car was 2018 model, it fitted perfectly fine in my 2016 SV Premium. Temperature now displays in celcius.

This may be random but, i observed by Temperate gauge ( engine temperature gauge) in instrument panel going up and down after i changed the box.

i dint observed before. So i was contemplating whether different model box might have caused it so switched it back.

Still temperature gauge going up and down. Coolant reservoir is full.

My change of box would have caused any issues ? or this is totally random and not related to box in anyway ?

I doubt it's related to the box in any way. The engine temp data gets to the cluster on the CANbus from the ECM.
