can you elaborate on this?VStar650CL wrote: ↑Mon Sep 20, 2021 4:54 pmI'm pretty well convinced it has to be the Auto Amp that's stuck to the bottom of the HVAC Unit. That shouldn't be hard to change either, there's only one screw holding it in (although it's in a somewhat awkward spot). Finding the right p/n for a particular MY and trim level is the real problem with that. There are a whole bunch of different ones listed for US models across the gen2 Rogue's lifespan.
bingo. bought the new part (oem part # 277609TG0D)VStar650CL wrote: ↑Mon Sep 20, 2021 5:11 pmIf you pop the cover at the front of the console beneath the glovebox on the righthand side, you'll see it immediately. It's screwed to the bottom of the HVAC housing with (I think) two connectors coming out of it. The Auto Amp is what actually controls the heat and A/C systems, the panel up front is only buttons and a display.
Are you still in possession of the old part and can you provide its number? I bought the US version two weeks ago, and I would like my car to display Celsius instead of Farenhait on A/C.ikalinin wrote: ↑Fri Oct 15, 2021 12:40 pmbingo. bought the new part (oem part # 277609TG0D)VStar650CL wrote: ↑Mon Sep 20, 2021 5:11 pmIf you pop the cover at the front of the console beneath the glovebox on the righthand side, you'll see it immediately. remove the pass side trim below the glovebox, there is 1 screw towards the middle of the car. you'll need a shorty screwdriver, or a right angle socket. 1 screw, and then it simply slides off.
fixed the readings to F
thank you!!!
That's good idea, but i'm from Poland. It will take long time for delivery, and I'm not 100% sure this part can solve my problem. If not, then I'm gonna stay without anything, and my wife gonna kick my a**
Actually, USPS to Poland is pretty prompt. Usually 8~14 days for First Class International, I'd say 11 is probably average. I've also bought electronic components from Poland and those were prompt too, under 10 days.
im assuming it will fit for my 2016 Nissan rogue. VIN KNMAT2MV0GP686894. Can you share the part number from the canada spec ?
No, it doesn't work that way. The Auto Amps aren't CAN-programmable, you need to get a different part.rajesh1136 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 19, 2022 9:29 amwondering cant we reprogram it to say Celcius or Fahrenheit ?
Thanks. Reason for my question. Check this out. Dealer in Canada.VStar650CL wrote: ↑Wed Oct 19, 2022 9:45 amNo, it doesn't work that way. Thanks. im searching in used parts places lets see if i can find one.VStar650CL wrote: ↑Wed Oct 19, 2022 11:06 amI dunno. US-built models all show -4BU0C, -6FL0C, or -6FL2C. The -4BU0D doesn't show up at all. But we know from prior experience that the C/F display is definitely determined by the Auto Amp programming. I don't know what to tell you regarding the supersessions, maybe they're US-model typos.
