If you just look at what has already been done with the other applications of the VQ - you would think the Altima application would have huge potential.Hussain wrote:
lol i went through this before and just stopped trying. we had a thread a while back about races and people talked sooooo much **** about the A/C. one guy was saying that a A/C had to struggle to keep up with a regular RSX.... i just let those people talk.... when it comes to racing (street or track) and going fast with the A/C, you hear more positive comments in Honda forums. i mean don't get me wrong, this is a cool forum and people are very helpful but as soon as performance comes up people talk about the A/C like it's a 20 second car. with the VQ motor and the D platform you can't go wrong. our cars are still new, LSD's will come later, along with many other performance parts.
Question - What is the aftermarket like for the Sedan? Are there many parts available? If not the AC may make the aftermarket pay more attention and develop more items. This would benefit both the AC and the Sedan.
There are several companies, for example, Stillen, producing parts for the AC. Stillen already has a proven track record with regards to performance products like superchargers, turbos etc.for the other Nissan VQ applications like the Z and G. There are other companies that I'm sure will start releasing parts in the coming months.
P.S. The mods on this forum are alright with me. They all seem to be mighty fair and objective. Objective means the ability to see the positive and negatives of the AC or any other car on these Nico forums and discuss them.
