I've been busy lately, but now that school is over there should be more progress.

First off I did my rear 5 lug conversion with z32 wheels.

Some of those bolts were a b**** to reach without disconnecting the control arms.

So I did.

Hawk brake pads to go along with the fresh s14 se rotors.

All done.

Z wheels look nice next to stock width.

If I went lower the fitment could be nice, but first I would have to roll the fenders.
The next issue I had to get down to was my power windows. The driver's side has been dead for a while and the passenger side went out recently, so I diagnosed both sides with a multimeter and took a trip to the junkyard.

I pulled a similar motor out of a 94 altima with low mileage.

Since the motors weren't exactly the same I used the internals from the new motor in the old housing and it worked. The part that kept the motor from actually working was some sort of resistor or capacitor inside the housing. On the driver's side a pin inside the amp/relay assy had desoldered from the circuit board so I re-flowed it with new solder and it's good for another 20 years.

Now, on to the cool stuff.

I bought an HKS Sport Exhaust. The piping is 75mm with and 83mm tip, it's satin black, and is very tame for driving on public roads (at low RPM's).

A comparison to my stock exhaust.

20 years can really degrade a piece of metal such as this.

This is what's left of one of the studs I had to drill out.

I ended up drilling the cat for a 10mm bolt that slipped right in to replace the stud.

I really like the low-key element of it.
Here's a video I made for the exhaust that has a pretty good description if you would like to read that as well.
