Hours driving: 160+
States/provinces Visited: 28
Nights in a tent: 14
Nights in a motel: 4
Nights in a hotel: 2
Nights free with relatives: 5
Cost of Gas: $812.64
Cost of Accommodations: $1,011.47
Cost of Food: $267.95
Miscellaneous Costs: $243.11
Total Cost: $2,335.17 ($89.81 per day)

I included $300 or so in motel and hospital bills it cost me when I got sick. Either way, still an absurdly cheap trip for 26 days. The 6 days in motels/hotels add up to more than half of my accommodation costs, so if you did it all tenting you could knock off another $550 at least. If yah got questions, ask away and I'll answer them best I can.

Stumbled upon this article during a random search on google, started reading and could not stop haha I registered to NICO just to comment on how inspiring your thread is (although im a long time 240 and se-r owner, and member at sr20forum).
