All uprev tuned. 436 at the crank as a base map.
Hi fat3oy,

New forum member here and sorry to revive an old post.

I plan to install the same Vortech V3 kit myself and I just read your post about offering intercooler piping. I would like to know if you are still offering that? Also, does the SC plate from the G35 tuner kit fit, or do I need a custom plate?

My plan is to get the V3 tuner kit and buy the same injectors and fuel pump as your built, I will then get a copy of Osiris and buy the base tune from you and go from there, since I plan to keep everything else stock.

Any feedback or input will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Yup I have the full Megan set up for my M45 with a custom y-pipe which I still have all 4 cats on. I didn't want to deal with the extra rasp or smell.

Because I wanted to go aggressive this year I changed my wheels and got my widebody done, I did a muffler delete a few days ago. I ordered a set of tips like the Megan's which look like the ones used on the GTR's. Single wall or the empty can look as everyone calls them now. They look very aggressive

And I won't be selling my Megan mufflers as I'll be installing them back on in the future, the muffler delete is just to loud for me. Just having fun with just the tips on, best part is I'll be able to switch between tips & muffler when ever I get an itch.

I went with 3.5" tips

But the GTR's are using 4"

Would you guys know how far off is the intercooler piping from the Vortech V3 kit? If I can't get the piping pre-fabricated, can a local muffler shop cut and weld to make up enough of the difference?

They look good and fit perfectly with the lip, 4" probably be too big.

Fat3oy - Do you still have the SC installed? Or did you put the turbo's on? I might be interested in your used SC and the larger pulleys. I have a built motor that's supposed to be good up to 600 hp. I currently have an Uprev tune. I'm guessing this will have to be re-tuned after a SC install? :gotme
