36 months of complimentary XM service w navtraffic

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Just a quick update on this. I traded the EX in a few weeks ago and picked up a FX. I called XM and told them that I want to transfer the service over and was told that it was no simple task. They had to cancel the radio id in the EX and then set me up with the radio id from the FX, with the 36 months of service. At the end of the call told me that I had a credit of $130+ on my account (I paid for 3 years of sirius, but some how am getting it included in the trial).

Its all good. I am out. Everyone thinks that they are smarter than anyone else. So what is the point to even share the truth. To each is own. Enjoy. Late.

What just happened here? I'm confused. Anyone else succeed with the XM offer in their EX?

No worries man, this is between UnMaTcHeD and myself. I created another XM thread and he cut my head off for making another one. I had more information that was straight forward instead of going on this thread. Well, now the thread is gone. Myabe deleted, but no one knows why. I didnt post it anywhere else, since I am not on any other forum within this forum. EX is it.

No worries. It is all confusing any way.

So I attempted this yesterday and was shutdown... I tried again today and got a gentleman named Lee who was based out of S. Virginia.I started off with the statement that I have had my car for about three months and wanted to begin using my XM w/Traffic. He asked if I had an account number or radio ID. I provided him my ID rather than my account as I provided that on my last call. After gathering all the needed information, he said "let me check, can I put you on hold?" He came back and confirm that I purchased my EX at the end of September and my 3 month trial is about to expire. I said that was incorrect, and my dealer said that I would have to call when I was ready to begin using my service, and it was to be for 36 months. He repeated and said "Let me check", and he put on hold.  He came back and said he was looking for the package, but could not find it. I made small talk while I waited. Put me back on hold and returned to say he found it, and he should have me all set here in a few..

Worked and set for 36 months from today as well :-) Early gift for me.. Saved me three hundred bucks...

is this so called promotion still available?

I mean paying for radio, especially the amount they ask for is ridiculous. If they want to see a real boost, they'd should 12 months free service and lower their price

For one thing, Howard Stern's ridiculous contract.

Howard Stern hit the jackpot when he moved satellite radio more than three years ago. He's pocketing $80 million a year and has received Xm Sirius Satellite Radio stock worth roughly $200 million for meeting subscriber growth targets spelled out in his five-year contract.

But the shock jock may be in for a shock of his own when his deal expires in 2010. Heavy spending by Sirius (SIRI) on stars like Stern have come at a hefty price: While millions of radio enthusiasts have signed up in recent years, both Sirius and XM are deeply in debt, cash-strapped and suffering an ominous sales slowdown.

Let me know how it goes with your trying to get the 3-year deal.

John
