The Ford GT weighs 3600 pounds because it's all bling right there, but to tell you the truth, the 360 Modena weighs around 3200, IIRC. I think the interior of the 350Z is just fine. The textured plastic, AC vents, etc. I think complaints about interiors should really be directed to the G35. My '03 Accord has better buttons and small interior details than the G. I'd buy a 350Z because nothing has the charisma, and performance, for the same price. A BMW 330Ci would cost enough to move me up to the G35 which would come with more equipment for a lesser price. A 325i is slow enough to make me not want to get one. My soundtrack would be 289 horses and the sultry exhaust note. Or I'd get an RX8 just to piss all you guys off. :pface They had to cost cut, but at least they didn't make it anywhere as obvious as say GM. The materials might not be up to your exacting, Audi-like standard, but they sure as hell look a lot better than the dashboard of an F-Body. I think it's called "style." But some people don't dig the new-retro look that all the car manufacturers seem to be moving towards these days. The new Rustang is a mishmash of a bunch of old mustang cues.

It still dosen't change the fact your car looks like a Camry either. :POr the fact that...The zenki S13 looks like a pigThe Ford GT looks like a amateur rehash of the GT40The Mercedes McLaren looks like a bigger SL65The Holde...Pontiac GTO looks like a Holden MonaroThe Saab 9-2 looks like an ImpretzelThe SRT-4 looks like a Pikachu if you get one in yellowThe McLaren F1 had no peer until now, ten years later

Go ahead, crack on the 240, see if I care....looks better and always will than the lard butt Z. An amateur rehash of the GT40?? No, it's probably one of the best looking cars built to date. I'm sure that it can smoke anything that rolls out of any Nissan plant. The GTO is a Monaro (sorry, got my cars mixed up earlier) you idiot. The SRT-4 will blow your doors off. How's it feel to get beat by a Pikachu? Oh, and I think that the Saab 9-2 is built or is going to be built on the Impreza platform.

The 4.6 is WAY MORE reliable than the 5.0.3. That's why the RX-8 beat the Z in all the magazines.4. Nissan's build quality isn't all that great. My '99 GT went over 130,000 miles with no problems, still had the stock clutch, and my timing chain didn't make noises.5. Mustangs lack the displacement that the LS1 powered GM cars have. The 4.6 has more HP per liter than the LS1.6. Did you graduate?? You need an English class.7. You must not have many friends.8. Stop it with the MSRP, go to a car lot and compare the ACTUAL price. The Cobra is faster on the street, STi has no top end power. The STi doesn't have a radio, the Cobra does.9. Admirably isn't good enough. It needs to smoke the competition.10. B/C you type like a girl

1. pardon me for living near civilization2. speed has nothing to do with reputation, 5ohs have a rep for always winning races and blowing their motors at the same time3. i thought all you cared about was street racing, which the z is better at... and that has nothing to do with what i said earlier.4. i had an 86 ford bronco that my dad bought new and i inherited, only problem we ever had was with the A/C, that doesnt mean they dont feel cheap and rattle like nobodies business.5. did you just use the HP per litre argument? wow i thought that was for people with tiny motors(civics), why dont you go buy an integra type r, 110hp per litre (as far as dc5s go)6. the grammar wasnt that bad there it makes sense if you pay attention to the commas. ive said much worse7. I have plenty, i actually like the STi's looks i almost got it, but i am in the minority.8. in that case i can get the 350z for about as much as a wrx... 9. why? besides it outperforms things in its price range even though to you it magically becomes a $30k+ car and the cobra becomes a $30k car.10. considering what you said earlier about ym writing are you saying all women lack grammar skills?

You kinda missed the point of my "The fact that..."

I'm an idiot because I said the GTO is a Holden Monaro?

The GT looks great because the GT40 looks great. It smokes anything from the Nissan factory because Nissan dosen't build wannabe exotics. The Skyline is an exotic just like a Corvette is. It's not.

The Saab 9-2 IS the Impreza.

Where'd I say the SRT-4 was slow?

This is much too fun, really. I do live near civilization, right smack dab in the middle of Greenville. I now know of 3 350Zs with blown engines. The onlt thing the Z is good for would be a wash bucket for my 240. My 240 rattles WAY more than my GN or my Mustang put together, I still like it reguardless of that. I was simply saying that although the 4.6 doesnt have as much power, IF Ford would put the 5.4 in the Mustang, the LS1 cars wouldn't stand a chance, besides, Camaros and Trans Ams were built really crappy compared to the Mustang (that's why Ford outsold them and that's why the F-Bodies are gone) I just said that b/c I felt like it. You'd have to pay over $30,000 to match the equipment of the Cobra, even the track model couldn't beat a Cobra on a road course, a base model would really get stomped. No, I'm saying girls prefer looks and the fact that a car looks sporty, even though it is slow. They don't care about speed for the most part, you probably like the Z b/c it matches your hair.

thats a big wash bucket...

if if if if, unless you change the past the if doesnt matter.i dont miss F bodies...i know of 3 350zs with blown engines as well all had the procharger, its called horrible engine management...my 240 is actually really good about not rattling we noticed a couple of days ago.

my arnettes match my g35 id need to buy a black one to match my hair.

your right i dont care about speed thats why im selling my g35 to buy a skyline GTR. of course the gtrs not a cobra so you probably think its slow.

You said the GTO LOOKS like a Holden, you didn't say IS. Wannabe exotics??? So, let me get this straight, a car must be imported to be an exotic?? The original GT40 is a legend in racing, I think EVERYONE knows that. If you did some research, I'm sure it won as many if not more than anyother car that competed against it in those days. To call the new one a "wannabe" is outlandish. I see what I'm up against now.....a few America haters. People that won't buy anything made here just b/c they want to be cool and drive a foreign car. You know damn well that EVERY car has problems, EVERY car has it's drawbacks, there are no perfect cars, just ones with less flaws. The reason I don't see 350z's here is B/C they are all on the used car lots. The Acura dealer now has 3. It may be different where you people live, I don't know. It just appears to me that there are alot of people that don't like the Z. In case noone has noticed, there is a HP war going on. We havn't seen this many, well, "hot rods" if you will since the 60's. I know it's alot different now than it was then, but, every year the HP numbers increase in most cars. Maybe Nissan is gonna sit this one out.

Didn't know Nissan built those as street cars, I stand corrected, but, it doesn't mean that the Ford GT isn't an exotic. I know it doesnt matter, shall I tell you that my '99 Mustang GT's sticker, fully loaded, was $23,450. A comparable Trans Am (I know this b/c I was going to buy one until I saw this) was $28,000. The only way a Trans Am or Z28 EVER beat my GT is if we raced to over 100MPH. For $4,550 less, I couldn't complain.

i consider the saleen s7 exotic, pretty sure areitu does too, guess thats for him to answer, ford is simply cashing in on their history, the Gt40 was an amazing car that had one purpose in mind, to hand ferrari its ***, and it did. ford needs a car that gets peoples attention like the viper does for dodge. so with both this car and the mustang they just want back to their prime and threw stuff together(albeit nicely, but that doesnt change my point.)

ill buy plenty made in america: i really want a chevy nova 64ish(when they were really small) i dearly want a real gt40,or a shelby cobra(ok so its half british) i almost bought a ws6 transamid like an old mach 1.

i think the next mustang coming out looks nice, for a car that was designed with zero creativity.

I can respect that. I see where you are coming from. I think that maybe Ford is using the old designs to be different. Personally, I LOVE the new Mustang that is coming out. The old GT 500s were the best looking Mustangs ever. The new one has that same look, with the rectangle style tail lights like the old Shelby Mustangs. I think that design is timeless. Everyone else is going to "Modern" bubble looking cars. Ford is taking a different route and giving people familiar faces with new technology. I like that. I've always wanted a '67 fastback with a new age engine, trans, etc. Now I can just go buy one later this year from the Ford dealer.....and I may just do that.
