Canada might be at an advantage there. But we get beat when it comes to shipping anything for our cars. All of the parts are from the states... But Ferg, keep up the record. I kept up with a 08 350z with no mods on my car... Can't wait to start building on the performance mod list!

lol ya im with rob on this one, the mustangs in California dont play. i mean, i even have 2 friends with 400+ WHP mustangs..... i mean we could hang with all the STOCK GT mustangs up until the current ones but cobras and saleens and not to mention the 5.Slows that are modified to be insanely fast....

LOL!

The only straight-line performance mods I have are Injen intake, Stillen exhaust, Stillen underdrive pulley, & Sentient ground kit. The pulley is the most important one - I think it equals or exceeds the gains of the rest combined.

Remember though, I'm not running against wildly modded Stangs. I ran one newer one but it was an auto, so I think the top one was probably the 2002 MT with an intake and exhaust. The others were an older 5.0 that was either near stock or just weary (but sounded great!), and another early 200x that I think was probably stock. The slowest of the bunch was the auto - I took him off the line and just slowly edged away from him. I had to play catch-up with the others.

The streak won't last. We may not have a LOT of hot Stangs around here but there are definitely more than a few that could blow me into the weeds! I just haven't met up with them yet!

The first guy, from the Nissan dealer, knows I have the Stillen banner now so it's only a question of time before his quicker buddies spot me.

But there's been no animosity. The guys pull up alongside and usually just ask "What the hell is in that thing?"

I have a friend that's renting a room from me, and he had a stock 07 GT California Special MT (he got rid of it because he's getting married next week, go figure), but we had some fun a few times. On the highway I was able to keep up with him just fine on a bunch of pulls from 50 or so to about 110 (that's as fast as we went), and that's before I got the Stillen underdrive pulley. I don't think I'd necessarily whoop him now if he still had the car, but I think I'd have a slighter edge. Add the Racingline Y-Pipe and Bullydog tuner and I definitely don't think he would have had a chance

Saw an older Cobra (early 90's) on the road a few days ago and was really tempted to see what he had, but I figured I'd wait for the Y-Pipe and tuner before I go testing my luck too much, haha.

the first time i turned it off i burned out the whole intersection lol. when its on there is barely any wheelspin but still chirps from 1st to 2nd and again from 2nd to 3rd. i can feel it lose power and visually on the tach the rpms actually drop. probably with phatter tires it will grab much better with tcs off. i dont know if tcs will stop your car for a second or two when it senses traction loss. sounds dangerous
